A really interesting report of an "invisible" UFO over Alpine, Texas has been submitted to NUFORC (case S148397): On Monday, August 19th, at somewhere around 10:00 pm in Alpine, Texas. Me and two friends had stepped outside for a cigarette. As we normally do we lay on our backs and admired the night sky as there is very little light pollution where we're from. Me and one of my friends both at the same time verbally exclaimed at something we were seeing. It appears to be an almost bird-like crescent shaped object moving through the sky. It was invisible but we could still see it. It was almost, cartoonishly invisible as the outline of it was pronounced but the inside of the object was invisible. It seemed almost as if it was like a magnifying glass, warping the view of the stars above it as it traveled. It was completely dead silent. I'm unable to determine what it's elevation was. I saw it for 5-7 seconds, then lost track of it when I stood up to see it better. My friend claims to have seen it continue flying then disappear into the horizon. Had my friend not seen it. I'm almost certain that I would have dismissed it. But now I'm inclined to believe that it was some sort of flying object. Whether it was government technology or an alien spacecraft, I am unaware. All I know is that I did see it.

A really enchanting and perplexing display (or dance, perhaps?) of lights was seen over West Texas, and fortunately, the witness shared the encounter with TexasUFOSightings.com: That road is mostly flat coming into and out of Alpine. It was about 445 AM and my girlfriend noticed that there were lights behind us. One would pop up, disappear, then another appear of a different color, dim, flutter and then disappear. Another set would pop up, dance in the background, flicker and then disappear, I watched them too. she was pretty spooked. this happened for about ten minutes. During that time we almost hit a rabbit and then within a few minutes almost hit a deer. Between all of that the lights eventually disappeared. They were not car lights. It felt like something was trying to get us to pull over. we didn't even pull over and kept going. What do you think of this recent Texas UFO sighting? A law enforcement employee helped investigate a very strange UFO sighting in South Texas. Ranchers captured unexplained lights on their deer feeder cam, which seems to show a craft hovering over a pack of wild hogs and even beaming lights down on them. Check out the photos recently submitted with MUFON (case 95803): Lights seen over deer feeder shot beams down to the ground at some javelinas feeding.
What do you think of these eerie pictures? Could they just be misidentified man-made lights or even a lens reflection or camera anomaly? Share your thoughts in the comments or on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram!
Have you ever seen a UFO in Texas? Report it!
A couple of guys in East Texas have been seeing a blinking star-like object in the sky that... moves! for a while now. And they did a great job at capturing it on film, as they had a tripod in hand and even lit up surrounding trees to try to give some perspective. Check out some video screenshots, a plea from the witness for help with this investigation, and watch part 1 of the video below: Choey Mil... Here's video part 2, which is longer and more detailed.
The witnesses suggest this might be the ISS but are surprised by its blinking, clear visibility in the night sky (apparently they knew folks who saw this in Louisiana too), and the fact that they have seen this object several times now, but from both the South and East! Have you seen this too? Report your sighting. Got ideas on what this could be? Share them in the comments or on the Facebook page. Wow, what a month this is turning out to be!... I can only imagine what's in store for us this Memorial Day weekend. Sorry in advance for this lengthy, light-on-investigation post. I got majorly behind on the latest sightings and need to play catch up. This is a list of recent sightings that I missed, not the full list of recent sightings! I will be comparing these reports to other recent reports over the coming days and see if there are any correlations (I'm sure there are). For now, though, you'll have to make your way through this chunky blog entry... View Recap in a larger map Here goes. May 1st: San Antonio tweet: Wtf did anyone just see those 3 red lights disappear? In the sky #Ufo #SanAntonio May 7th: Alpine, Del Rio, Texarkana, & Corsicana MUFON report: ... My eyes were drawn to 2 blinking lights that seemed to be out toward 118 North. They were far apart but perfectly in line with each other and kept blinking red, not at the same time and not in any pattern that I could notice but like they were blinking at each other. ... They were perfectly motionless for about 3 full minutes, just blinking red. No movement whatsoever. Then, they just faded away. ... They were already there when I stepped outside. I will also add that there was no sound, but I attribute that to them being so far away ... This morning I called our local municipal airport to inquire about the lights, and asked about government drones. The man I spoke with confirmed that drones don't fly this far inland ... he did state that what I probably saw were helicopters but they don't usually fly in pairs or in groups of more than one around here. He also confirmed that there was no air traffic ... he didn't want them [drones] here. So, I have been left baffled. When I first saw these lights, I immediately dropped the broom I was holding, turned off my porch light and stared stunned. We live in a dark sky community and I know what airplanes look like at night. This was something I had never seen before and could not take my eyes off of them. My heart began beating quickly and it just left me kind of numb and in deep thought the rest of the night. I've also had a headache (even as I type this), ever since coming back into the house last night. ... I do live near the airport and I am the wife of a border patrol agent, ... I have a friend who saw a very similar event about 2 weeks ago.
MUFON report: I thought to myself "Is that star moving?" ... there were 3 stars in a triangle pattern, the top right star all of a sudden started moving. ... I didn't see any clouds at all and thought it was strange but it must have been a satellite. but right after it disappeared I noticed another one moving in the same direction same same level as if it were following the first one and disappeared just about the same spot. ... they looked just like all the other stars in the sky. ... I found a post from someone online that I believe saw the same thing. UFO blogger site I think. ... believe I was looking in the direction of Alpine ... I had gone inside and posted it on Facebook that night as well. The post is still there May 9th, Sugar Land: ("debunked" by a commenter as lens flare)
May 11th: Houston and Southlake
May 12th: San Antonio and Comanche
