A couple of guys in East Texas have been seeing a blinking star-like object in the sky that... moves! for a while now. And they did a great job at capturing it on film, as they had a tripod in hand and even lit up surrounding trees to try to give some perspective. Check out some video screenshots, a plea from the witness for help with this investigation, and watch part 1 of the video below: Choey Mil... Here's video part 2, which is longer and more detailed.
The witnesses suggest this might be the ISS but are surprised by its blinking, clear visibility in the night sky (apparently they knew folks who saw this in Louisiana too), and the fact that they have seen this object several times now, but from both the South and East! Have you seen this too? Report your sighting. Got ideas on what this could be? Share them in the comments or on the Facebook page.

Megan D and her 6-year-old daughter witnessed a strange craft hovering over them and graciously reported her sighting to Texas UFO Sightings: It was about 8 pm so there was still a little light in the sky . When me and my 6yr old son saw a helicopter because it was stop in the air hovering . But then I realized that the lights were located in strange places on the air craft . Then as it went out of are sight I was light weird . But then it came around us again so I pulled over . The thing looked like a platform . It had no kind of geometric shape.... and that explained why the lights were not in earthly made crafts. They did mot blink but stayed light . Two to the side and one up between them like they were all across the platform . Have you seen any crafts that aren't helicopters or planes flying around in Lufkin? Report your sighting!
A giant green fireball was spotted by many Texans on the night of September 12th, and some even got to see and hear it explode!, according to AMSMeteors.org: Was at a football game and saw what appeared to be a large light green tinted meteor that had come from over my right side and went north. Ended in an explosion. Never saw one before. Surprised by color. - Jackie H Recently I put a post together about the uptick in meteor sightings in August and September, and well, this is just another one to add to the lot! I'm quite used to the rhythm of UFO and meteor sightings, and we're definitely seeing a healthy amount of sky activity right now!
Did you see this meteor? If so, report your sighting, even if you have a different explanation for what you saw!
Back on June 22nd, a ton of Texans got to see a kick-ass shooting star.... or something. I like sharing stories of identified flying objects, too - in particular, meteors and drones. But the reason I'm sharing this meteor sighting is because I'm not so sure it was a meteor. According to the many witnesses, a pair of yellow white fireballs fragmented in the night sky. But the silence and brightness of the event is curious, and the witnesses, which include veteran sky gazers who've seen their fair share of shooting stars, were all floored by the sighting, which they compared to a fireworks show. Did you see this UFO? What do you think it was? Let me know! Here's AMSMeteors.org's map of the event: And highlights from witness reports: It looked like two yellowish balls surrounded by white light next to each other with one white tail. Although it was obviously only a few seconds, it seemed to last a while. Excited to have seen it, but really want to know what it was from because it was huge! Expect lots of reports! - Alec |
