According to Spaceweather.com, really amazing light show was filmed in the Caribbean the other night by local Frankie Lucena. In the footage below, you can see a still sky full of stars and then a bright ball of light appears and flashes right before a giant jellyfish-shaped lightning strike occurs. According to scientists, these types of lightning strikes are really called "sprites," electrical discharges that occur above the clouds and can can create beautiful images: All the images in this video were captured by crew members aboard the International Space Station.
