Okay, so the whole debate about "is an earth-shattering asteroid headed our way, like the Mayans warned, and is the government hiding us from the fact?" is becoming less and less of a debate and more and more of a scary, straightforward rumor (Melancholia-style).
Meteor activity has been insane in Texas, which is not comforting considering ISON - or Nibiru, Planet X, whatever you want to call it - won't be here until the end of November. That's a ton of debris for an asteroid that "apparently" won't be all that visible to the naked eye... damn, we might very well be screwed!
To add to the hysteria, Michael Moore took a break from a (spot on) political rant on the Bill Maher show to say we may not be around in 100 years, pointing up to the sky and nodding "you know."
