Milwaukee man Michael Robinson heard a "loud thump" and when he headed out to investigate the sound, he discovered a large, unfortunate dent on his van, apparently caused by a large mystery object, which was laying around close by. The object was gold or copper in color and although it was quite heavy, it was hollow on the inside. Robinson, as well as many people commenting on the AOL news story, made the suggestion that it's an airplane part:
What is interesting is a day prior in California, someone witnessed a strange vapor trail left behind by a small unidentified round object, and the online Reddit community speculated that it could be the remains of a falling rocket or meteor. Hmm...
With all the recent stories of space junk, increased meteor activity, triangle UFO sightings, and now - falling airplane parts?, should we expect more and more "damage from the sky" like this in the coming years? Could these events be related? Is there something going on in space? What do you think?
