Somebody watching a nighttime fireworks show over Chandler, Texas, noticed a strange, out-of-place ball of light in the sky, which seemed to be "on fire." The hovering light then moved across the sky, to the shock of the witness, who filmed everything, and then uploaded the evidence to YouTube. Check out the video below, and let me know what you think it shows. Could aliens enjoy watching a fireworks show just as much as humans? Or is this just another video of another drone? 4/6/2021 Update: The witness has commented with some more information about the sighting that could help us connect all the dots. Firstly, this UFO sighting occurred in Henderson, Texas, on March 21st (the story originally stated East Texas on March 22nd). As well, here's some additional details the witness wanted to share: "Thank you for commenting and sharing this video. I recorded this video the evening before I posted it around 7pm in Henderson, Tx in the back of the McDonald's parking lot. I saw someone in the drive through pointing towards the sky so I looked in the direction they were pointing, saw this object and began recording. I have no idea what it was and it could definitely be one of the options you mentioned but either way I thought it was interesting and decided to post it just in case." Original Story
A glowing white cylindrical or cigar-shaped object hovered in the sky and then disappeared over East Texas, according to a video recently uploaded to YouTube. There have been many reports of "cigar" UFOs over Texas lately, and this sighting also reminds me of a November 2018 sighting in Fort Worth, which you can see a photo and video of below:  When: November 19th, 2018 at sunset Where: Keller (outside Fort Worth) What: White, cigar-shaped object hovering silently for about 20 minutes What do you think of these cases? Could they be related? Or is there an easier explanation, for example, a military flare that is burning out, or a plane that is flying away from us, giving us a false illusion that it's disappearing?

One of the most famous unexplained cases is the Cash-Landrum incident of 1980 in East Texas (north of Houston in the Piney Woods). During the encounter, the primary witnesses Becky Cash and Vicki Landrum described seeing a diamond-shaped craft hovering in mid air and feeling intense heat radiating from it. Shortly after, they experienced symptoms of radiation poisoning.
Houston MUFON recently hosted a tour of the Cash-Landrum site and fortunately a video of the tour has been uploaded to YouTube. In the video, you can hear new details about what the UFO looked like, other witnesses in addition to Cash and Landrum, and rumors about a cover-up:

A passenger on a plane headed to Dallas snapped a photo of the sky outside their window, and noticed a UFO in the photo, and then also saw it with their naked eye. The photo was even shared with the airplane pilot, who suggested it may be a "drug balloon" (MUFON case 84162):

On Thursday June 1, 2017, I was on American Airlines flight #127 from Orlando to Dallas appx 20 minutes from landing at DFW, time was appx 7;13am the sun was impressive in the clouds, so I decided to take a picture. I snapped the attached photo with my Galaxy S7 phone and when reviewing it right after, I noticed the orb looking thing in the photo. I was seated in 3F.
While a lens reflection cannot be seen with the naked eye, atmospheric phenomenon like ball lightning can be seen. Is that what we are seeing here? Or is this a drug balloon or man-made drone of some kind? Orbs flying alongside planes are, surprisingly, a common UFO sighting, most famously during World War II, when UFOs like these would show up alongside fighter jets, so frequently that they were referred to as "foo fighters."
