(Ongoing Updates!) Multiple Witnesses in Texas Report Triangle UFO Over New Years Eve Party1/7/2019
1/7/2019 at 9:07 PM Update: Since updating this story, TexasUFOs has received two additional reports of these UFOs (or UFO) sighted on New Years Eve. A resident of nearby Anna, Texas, also saw the same lights. She shared on Twitter that her home faces the same intersection the witness in Melissa, Texas referred to. As well, earlier in the evening (around 11:45 PM), in Austin, Texas, a witness saw the same thing. They wrote to TexasUFOs about it: I saw the same UFOs described in the link above!
1/7/2019 Update: Since posting this story, the witness has since clarified to TexasUFOs that they did not see a ring of lights, but instead saw a vaguer, and even more triangular formation of lights (as shown in the photos below). The homeowners explained that the lights were unusual, as there is no stadium or building in the location they were seen at! The witness further noted that they personally observed two of the three lights, however after discussing the sighting with others at the party, it was confirmed that there were three lights hovering.
Original post:
According to a witness report sent to TexasUFOs, three circular lights were seen hovering in the night sky over Melissa, Texas by guests of a New Years Eve party happening in the vicinity. Although they looked similar to street lights, they were attached to no pole and also vanished mysteriously. Read Curtis H.'s testimony below, and as always, let me know what you think of this case in the comments below, or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram: First of all, I have no photos and I know that will ruin this for a lot of people. Wish we had taken one but none of us thought it was a UFO at first. Visible between the rooftop of two homes in the distance, myself and two other people at a NYE party noticed 3 circular lights. The lights were extremely bright and white in color and not moving. The lights were similar in size and not in a line or noticeable pattern...just close together. Thus, I originally assumed it was a stadium light from a nearby school. One of the people looking at the lights asked the homeowner what was over in that direction...as soon as the homeowner began to walk towards us, all three Light orb vanished...there was not light pole or anything remaining in the sky to explain the sighting. The homeowner confirmed there was no stadium. I spent the night and just left their home...we drove all over the neighborhood and could find nothing that could have lit up the sky in that way. When we got in the car we noticed that the clock on the dash had changed to a completely wrong time. It is 930am and the clock was at 613pm.

According to a recent MUFON report (case 87367), a "black hazy solid object" shaped like a "doughnut" or ring moved quickly and silently over Houston: Found flying over apartment complex pool area. Black hazy solid object. Doughnut shaped that flew a short distance then disappeared into the clouds.Made no noise. It was a circle shaped object above tree and apartment building line.
Although no photos were taken of this sighting, other sightings of mysterious black rings hovering (versus moving) have been reported over the years. Could these sightings be related? As always, you be the judge:
