The scariest part about the Travis Walton alien abduction might be that it is one of the most credible and well-documented cases ever. That means that if aliens are real, some of them abduct human beings and subject them to painful, traumatizing experiences.
On November 5th, 1975, Travis Walton was clearing trees in an Arizona forest with six other loggers. After the day's work was done, all seven men piled into a pick-up truck to head home. However, Walton never made it home.
During the drive, the men spotted and heard a buzzing flying saucer-shaped object overhead. Walton was curious, so he stepped out of the vehicle to approach the strange disc. That's when a blue beam of light struck him down to the ground. His fellow loggers yelled at him to come back, but they were too spooked to get out of the car, and eventually drove off.
The next thing Walton remembers is waking up in a hospital-like room and being glared at by three intimidating creatures, resembling the typical "gray aliens" described by witnesses of the Roswell UFO crash and others like it, but with orange jumpsuits. “I looked at the vague but reassuring forms of the doctors around me. Abruptly my vision cleared. The sudden horror of what I saw rocked me as I realized I was definitely not in a hospital. I was looking square into the face of a horrible creature . . . with huge, luminous brown eyes the size of quarters! I looked frantically around me. There were three of them! Hysteria overcame me instantly.” — Travis Walton
Walton was also in terrible pain and very weak. However, he managed to muster up enough energy to yell at the entities and scare them away temporarily. He later met another taller, more humanoid-looking creature and spent some time walking around the craft. However, he would go on to endure additional, traumatizing examinations during his stay on the alien spaceship.
Whether Walton hallucinated, fabricated, or genuinely recalled his abduction experience is still a matter of debate, but there's little doubt that Walton and his fellow loggers had a UFO sighting, and that Walton went missing for five days afterward. Walton's mysterious disappearance and the subsequent hunt for him was covered by national media. Walton did return to Earth, but thirty minutes away in the nearby town of Herber, Arizona. He woke up suddenly, and found himself laying on his stomach, and feeling weak, hungry, and thirsty. He was treated at a local hospital and went on to share his terrifying extraterrestrial encounter.

A marijuana dispensary in Oregon may be haunted, at least that's what spooky security camera footage seems to show. Officer.com asked law enforcement offices from all over about their personal paranormal experiences. Everything from UFO sightings to ghostly encounters were shared, but what I found most intriguing was a story about an alien abduction!
Jaime Dube used to be a patrol officer in Maine but he's no stranger to strange encounters. One of the most amazing experiences he ever had was a missing persons case.
Francine was an alcoholic in town who had multiple encounters with the police. So when she went missing one day, the whole force was keeping an eye out for her. Office Dube noticed a person curled int a ball laying on a bridge. When he approached the figure, he realized it was none other than Francine and boy did she have a story about where she was.
According to her, a "spaceman" took her. She elaborated to say: "They did all kinds of things. They made me eat this green stuff. It was kind of like pudding. It was green and tasted horrible. They made me eat that. They prodded and poked at my stomach. My stomach is killing me right now. I want you to take me to the hospital." What Francine was most disturbed by, though, was the fact that she was sent back to Earth. She claimed that her alcoholism excluded her from staying on board the ship, which included many other human beings just like her - who had gone missing. But that's not all. Francine had proof of her extraterrestrial encounter - a mysterious, ultra-smooth rock with strange reflective properties. What do you think of this amazing alien abduction case? During the month of October, you may see vampires, but only pretend dress-up ones for Halloween, or in Hollywood movies like Twilight and Dracula. But did you know you could be living next door to a real-life vampire right now?
Okay, so not the kind of vampire that murders humans, sleeps in coffins, and lives forever. Phew.
That's not to say the real-life vampires of New Orleans, Buffalo, and other parts of the US aren't a little creepy. Some even wear fangs, and many congregate in secret at night. But according to researchers, real-life vampires are normal humans like you and me. They just suffer from a mysterious and extreme form of anemia that first develops in puberty and causes them to crave the taste of blood. Practicing vampires don't bite the necks of unsuspecting victims, though, but instead enjoy medically-safe blood donations from those who are willing to help. There are also reported to be "psychic" vampires that drain the energy of others (both near and far) through hand movements and other mystical techniques. I read some articles about this strange, mostly-nocturnal community online and discovered comments from people interested in vampirism and from those already practicing it. While I can accept that some or most real-life vampires in modern society provide no threat to anyone and are just trying to get by in life, I came across some online comments that were pretty frightening, like this one: "It's not advisable to meet a Vampire you have to be very strong they are unusual, you can sometimes feel drained or energetic it depends upon us. Very soon you will find many of them because day by day human are becoming so low on energy due to senses pleasure." It's difficult not to note some of the more terrifying (but hopefully corner) cases of vampirism in an article like this. Some of the most brutal serial killers in history were known to drink the blood of their victims, like Peter Kürten and Richard Trenton Chase. Let's hope the average vampire of today is a sensible, law-abiding US citizen, but until vampires come out in the open and put down their fangs, they will continue to strike fear into the rest of us.
There's a road near New London, Minnesota that is claimed to be haunted. Timber Lake Road is lined by dense forest and at nighttime, it turns eerie, with locals reporting to see strange red eyes in the dark and other ghostly apparitions. As you might guess, it has a tragic history. One day, a mother who lived on Timber Lake Road came home to discover that her children had been murdered. Grief stricken, she hung herself. Her ghost is believed to still roam the rural road, looking for the murderer.
In the summer of 2015, a deaf woman and her boyfriend stayed in their mother's home in New London, not terribly far from this haunted road. And she had a super spooky encounter. In the middle of the night, she felt like someone was watching her in the corner of the bedroom, specifically a shadowy figure with white, glowing eyes (she had a vision in her head of it). But she was too afraid to actually peek open her eyes to see. A week later, the mother's boyfriend stayed in the same bedroom and had a similar feeling. This time he took a picture, and you can scroll down to see the creepy image! What's even creepier is the mother ended up admitting later that she believed the house to be haunted, and that's why she was about to break the lease! She would hear strange noises in the house, however since her daughter was deaf, she didn't think the noises would be bothered! Check out the original photo taken below as well as some lightened versions of it, and the original witness testimony shared in a popular Reddit thread. Original ghost imageBrightened images
It was taken in summer of 2015 at a house in New London, MN by my mom’s boyfriend. My mom moved in this house in the woods with 1 year lease, but she moved out after 2nd week for another place and broke the lease at end of the month. When I came to visit her before she broke the lease, she told me my boyfriend and I could stay at this house as a quiet “up north vacation” for just two of us. She doesn’t mention any haunting to us or tell us reason why she moved out. We got there and I immediately felt like someone was watching us as soon as we placed our foot into the house. I ignored this feeling because I thought I was just overly paranoid for no reason and it was at night time. This feeling of being watched doesn’t stop at our bedtime and it came from one corner next to closet that was facing the bed if you stood there. I finally told my boyfriend I have a very strong feeling something was there watching us from that corner. We don’t see anything but I can see a black apparition with white glowing eyes in my head (hard to explain what it’s like seeing something that’s not there). He was like, don’t be silly and I am always here to protect you. So I went to sleep with my eyes shut all night with no peeking. For some reasons I believed I would see glowing white eyes if I ever opened my eyes, so I just don’t ever dare to peek and risk ruining my night freaking out if I saw something. The next morning I had enough and told him to get outta here ASAP.
