According to a recent MUFON report (case 82432), a group of kids were gazing up at a helicopter and snapping photos of it when they saw a UFO that "scared them" and caused them to run to their parent. Luckily, the young witnesses snapped a photo of the strange "ball of energy": We noticed that a helicopter was circling the area in at a rather high speed. My children went out to look and started snapping photos of the helicopter when they noticed what can only be described a large ball of energy. For some reason they snapped a photo but this object scared them and they ran in to get me. I was outside within 15 seconds and the object was no longer where they had pointed. Upon asking questions I was shown this attached photo.
Could the children have witnessed a drone, ball lightning, or perhaps something more mysterious, like an alien craft? Share your thoughts in the comments or on Facebook or Twitter!

Multiple passengers on board a plane flying over Phoenix, Arizona, saw four unidentified lights outside the window. One of the passengers was able to take a photo, which his mother fortunately sent to MUFON (case 82289): My son saw 4 purple orbs hovering over Phoenix Arizona from his airplane window on 2/22/2017. out of the airplane window. It is not a reflection on the glass because the people in the seat in front of him spotted them first and then told him to look out. He snapped a picture. He witnessed them there 30 seconds and then vanished. His picture is a really good one and quite clear.
Although the photo appears like it may show a lens reflection or anomaly, according to the witness, the UFOs were seen with the naked eye, making this case especially intriguing.
Bright mystery lights were filmed by a family driving at night in Arizona. The lights disappeared and reappeared, and at times appeared to move. Check out the video and testimony submitted to MUFON (case 81684) and picked up by a YouTuber: My daughter and I were driving at night in the dark when we noticed 4 lights that looked very bright above the distant mountains. Four of them lined up next to one another from right to left. They stayed stationary for a few moments and then 1 would fly swiftly away from the others leaving 3 in a linear horizontal line before it disappeared. It would spontaneously reappear and then fly above the other 3, move left again and then realign with the other 4 leaving 4 brightly shining in the sky. We also saw a distant airplane but it appeared farther away, higher and with blinking lights. The UFOS we saw were solid bright white/yellow and were brilliant against the night sky. They flew fluidly, and would move great lengths across the sky in an instant, disappearing and reappearing. They were much larger than stars in the sky and brighter than the brightest star. We felt excited and in awe, and happy they would reappear so we could get good pictures and videos. Our neighbors also saw them while out driving. We finally left to go home. We have seen them before in a dark night sky over the Estrella mountains to the East. They are common in this part of Goodyear. We see them several times a year.
A mass sighting of a possibly very large craft over the Phoenix area has hit the news. There has so far been no official explanation, although a local astronomer has suggested it could simply be a bunch of planes incoming at the same time (looking stacked). What do you think? As always, you be the judge...
A passenger on a plane flying from Chicago, Ill to Los Angeles spotted UFOs about a 1.5 hours before landing. The UFOs were bright, pulsating, as large as a football stadium, and appeared to be on the ground: I was on my way to California. I flew out of MDW heading to LAX, when about approximately an 1hr left on my flight I saw these 3 lights pulsating brightly on the ground, and inside them there was another light even brighter, like a flash of a camera color and it moved around inside. It went from one Orb to the other. I was on the airplane sitting on the right side of the plane 5 or 6 seats at the end of the plane behind the wing. The Orbs were very big, not sure the size, but I estimate the size of a football stadium. The plane that I was on was headed to LAX, which means I would have been looking out the window facing the north and south would have been opposite of me and the nose of the plane would be pointing toward the west which is where I was going. When we landed I asked the pilot if he saw the Orbs and he replied that they were Solar Panels. I laughed, I know that Solar Panels don't glow and pulsate bright light like that. Anyway I know what I saw and have to admit this was my first encounter with a UFO.... However these guys were on the ground and not actually flying.
According to the witness testimony, which was submitted to MUFON (case 79263), pilot also noticed the UFOs, but explained them as "solar panels." Could solar panels create the illusion above?
What do you think these orbs were? Reflections of light produced by solar panels? Giant ships hovering close to the ground? Unidentified landed objects?
