Many people in the paranormal community believe in ghost or spirit orbs, mysterious but typically very small balls of light that almost look like specks of dust or even lens flares. And, frankly, most videos showing so-called unexplained orbs cannot be proven as paranormal. However, one of the latest orb videos caught the attention of Reddit and I, and perhaps that of a cat, too. In the screenshots and quick video below, you will see a clear white light zoom through the room and seemingly startle a resident feline:
What do you think of this sighting and other orb sightings? Are they signs of the "other side" or just particles of dust getting sucked up into an air vent? Share your theories below in the comments or on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
If you have any great orb photos or videos to share, report your sighting.

Ghost hunters may want to pay a visit to Waco, Texas, as a consignment store located there has harbored a haunted couch for about a decade. Local news station KWTX interviewed the shop owner back in 2007, when the spooky sofa was first dropped off, and then again in 2017.
The original owner of the couch claimed they were plagued by paranormal activity shortly after introducing it into their home. Specifically, "kitchen cabinets began opening and closing on their own" and there was a strange sulfur smell that wafted through their home.
What is also interesting is that some patrons of the Waco shop say their cell phones malfunction when they get near the couch, and two people said that after they helped move the couch, they experineced car accidents. Furthermore, the Woodway, Texas newscasters who first reported on the haunted couch in 2007 claim that right after the story, they too encountered unexplained technological malfunctions. The account is eerily similar to other accounts of "poltergeist," AKA ghostly activity that takes the form of furniture and objects being moved or thrown across the room. The 1982 Steven Spielberg film Poltergeist had a memorable scene wherein the main characters excitedly react to anomalous activity in their kitchen:
What do you think of this strange sofa in Waco? Could it really be haunted? Is it just a ploy to get people into the shop? Perhaps both?

At about the 30-minute mark of one of Joe Rogan's more universally-loved recent podcasts, guest Steve-O (star of Jackass) shares his sincere belief that drug use can induce hallucinations that give insight into other dimensions. While Steve-O used the technical medical term of "tactical hallucinations" to describe his otherworldly experiences, he also told Joe Rogan that he believed that "our little 3-dimensional experience is a very small part of what's going on in the universe... there's dimensions, all frequencies, everything... if you do enough drugs, the barriers between these different compartments get eroded somehow." He explained how during his years of heavy drug use (he is now sober), he heard voices, and believes they may have been "spirits talking" to him. Check out the full interview below, or scroll to the 30-minute mark to catch this amazing celebrity ghost story:
What do you think of Steve-O's thoughtful and increasingly popular opinion that humans experience a very l limited reality, but may be able to find ways to interact with other dimensions, and possibly even the other side? Steve-O's point of view is not out of line. Consider the CIA's top-secret investment into the study of psychic phenomenon, the many well-documented cases of real psychics aiding police investigations, and far-out but nevertheless mainstream scientific theories like String Theory!

The "ghosts" community over at Reddit have been stirring over a recent video submitted on behalf of the Reddit poster's sister, which appears to show a ghost floating across a room. The sister was making a video essay when a spooky shadow drifted behind her, and even seemed to surprise her! The brother claims that the "shadow" goes behind her head, so could very well be a ghost... what do you think? As always, you be the judge: I got a call from my sister, shortly after she sent me this video. She was in the middle of a presentation for her class and saw this in the video. There was in fact a fan in the room so that is I believe why her hair moves. The fan was not oscillating, the window was not open and there was no car driving by nor bug behind a light. The shadow moves behind her head and she has no knowledge of video editing. I edited out her name for privacy. What do you think? Update: Second floor room @ approx 1:12pm room pics in comments.
Here is a photo of the room where the video was taken, for reference:
