Amazing video of a bright fireball crashing into the earth has been featured on many news outlets. Along with the footage are photos of the crash site, which show metal spheres. Sources now say this "UFO" or "meteor" was really a piece of a satellite, in other words it was space junk.
As of 2016, the United States Strategic Command claims to track a total of 17,852 artificial objects in earth’s orbit, including 1419 operational satellites. That's a lot of potential space junk.
TexasUFOs has reported on many astonishing "meteor/UFO" crashes this month, from the meteor that caused an earthquake in Michigan to the meteor that exploded over Russia, turning night into day and causing the ground to shake. And to make matters eerier, all of this incredible sky activity is happening less than a month before the anniversary of the 2013 Valentines Day meteor over Russia, which injured thousands of people who were living in or visiting the Ural Mountains at the time. With cases like these, it is difficult to know whether not we are looking at a meteor or "space junk" or crashing spacecraft! If this "meteor" was really a piece of a satellite, could other "meteors" that have been reported on by the media also have been space debris?... Could a space storm launch our own satellites (known and MIA) and spacecraft right back at us? Or could there be a secret space war raging above our heads, as the late astronaut Edgar Mitchell suggested? Share your theories in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram! And if you have any photographs or videos of a recent meteor, make sure to share those as well!

1/17/18 Update: Photos and videos are circulating online of the meteor reported to have directly hit Michigan on January 16th. Also, news reports are continuing to surface about the meteor impact, which caused houses to shake (earthquakes), loud booms to be heard in the air, and more.
Original story
Right after reporting about a mysterious fireball and power outage in parts of the US, reports of a large fireball seen over Michigan, which was so large as to cause houses to shake, was reported. What is especially eerie about all of this unusually dramatic sky activity, is it is all occurring about a month before the anniversary of the 2013 meteor impact in the Chelyabinsk region of Russia that injured thousands, and just days after another similar meteor explosion in Russia.
Just as in Russia this year and in 2013, this meteor lit up the entire night sky!
Do you think this fireball is a sign of rockier times to come? Will we see another scary fireball show on Valentines Day this year? Are these large meteors a sign of weather change, or even space war? According to video and testimony shared on an online forum, multiple reports of a fireball over the US were posted to Facebook, and along with it, many citizens experienced a brief flickering of lights. The bright meteor-like object was apparently spotted all over the countryside, from Texas to North Dakota, and during the same time frame, lights flickered in homes across Iowa and Nebraska, and possibly in New York too:

Curiously enough, there were many verified reports of fireballs over Colorado, according to AMSMeteors.org, but they were from January 16th, a night after these events.
What do you think of these eyewitness reports of a fireball, followed by mysterious but brief power outages? Could the events be related? Did you happen to see this fireball (or "UFO") as well? Share your photos or videos! And, as always, share your opinions on this story and more in the comments or on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
An incredible fireball descended over Russia, briefly turning night into day and sparking panic as witnesses suggested it could be a bomb or UFO. Many speculate, however, it was simply a meteor, specifically a "bolide," a meteor that explodes in the atmosphere. A mysterious bright flash turned night into day over a huge area of Russia - sparking fears the US had launched a strike on North Korea.
Many meteors have made dramatic appearances over Russia in recent memory, most notably the 2013 Valentines Day meteor over the Chelyabinsk region, which injured thousands when it exploded in the sky.
An extremely large, bright meteor (or "fireball") was seen and filmed falling down from the sky about a week ago, and hundreds of people reported it to AMSMeteors.org, with one witness even uploading a video of it, and famous paranormal investigator Amy Bruni tweeting about it, and informing TexasUFOs that she saw the fireball from Bristol, Rhode Island: The fireball appeared to streak like a meteor, but iI'e NEVER seen a meteor of that size. Maybe it was VERY close to earth?
Witnessing a large space rock fall from the sky is always an exciting and beautiful event, but are we getting bigger and more frequent fireballs than in the past? And could these meteor events be tied to natural weather here on Earth? A few days before the California wildfires for example, a large fireball was seen falling in the area, and possibly landing nearby, and there was also meteor activity reported in Texas before the hurricanes.
