A mysterious blue light blanketed Queens, New York yesterday evening, and it sparked fears of an alien invasion, so much so that the local NYPD even tweeted that there was "no evidence of extraterrestrial activity" when explaining that it was actually a power plant explosion that caused the incredible light show.
That said, there were two UFO sightings that occurred in the same location and around the same time frame, according to videos uploaded to YouTube:
Despite the vast blue glow that Queens residents witnessed, and the loud bangs that also were reportedly heard during the event, there was apparently only a small fire caused by the explosion and it was put out before any firetrucks even had a chance to arrive.
Some may find the UFO sightings, and the lack of any firefighters on the scene, a little suspicious. Others may just say it's all one big coincidence. What do you think? A bizarre, metal-looking object was filmed flying around in the daytime sky over New York. Check out the photos and testimony send to MUFON (case 94490) below: is very odd looking in moving very smoothly at first I thought it was a helicopter carrying something had to stop and get a closer look it up you’re almost to the floating
What a strange video! Did you see this UFO, too? Report your sighting!
Can you crack this case? Could this be a drone, balloon, or something else man-made? Or could aliens be visiting? If you can identify this UFO, share in the comments or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
Very weird bright glowing lines were spotted with the naked eye and photographed in the nighttime sky over a city in New York, according to a recent MUFON report (case 94412): Squiggly illuminated lines hovering in sky
What could have caused such a nighttime light show like this? Is it possible this was a hoax and in reality a single light was photographed, but the image got distorted?

A really amazing and detailed testimony and drawing of a "jellyfish"-like UFO hovering over the Hudson River has been submitted to MUFON (case 89966): Organic Jelly Fish/Octopus looking UFO over the Hudson River
What is perhaps even more amazing than this report is that there have been others like it before. TexasUFOs covered two similarly interesting "jellyfish" UFO sightings, one in Texas in the December of 2016, and one in the Caribbean during that same year. In the case in the Caribbean, the sighting was caused by lightning. However, the case in Texas still has no explanation.
Do you think this "jellyfish" UFO could have been caused by lightning, like in other cases, or could it be much more mysterious than that? Share your theories on this sighting and more in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!

Recent photos sent into MUFON (#87024) show bright white balls of light moving slowly in the daytime sky over New York: Several circular objects flying together in a formation paused, hovered, and then rapidly accelerated and disappeared.
Could these UFOs simply be balloons or even geese? Drones and typical commercial aircraft definitely don't fit the bill. For what it is worth, this sighting is similar to others like it, which have escaped debunking so far, including in Japan in 2011 during and after the deadly earthquake and disaster that struck the country:
