Phoenix residents were in for an amazing sight Monday evening. Local news shared photos of what looks like swirling lights or a bizarre cloud taking up a massive portion of the sky in Phoenix (but apparently this was seen in other parts of Arizona, as well as California and Mexico, too). So far, there has been no explanation given for this mass display, but one person commented that this could be an example of "cloud iridescence," or a rainbow cloud caused by ice crystals hanging in the atmosphere. Others believe this could be the leftover "contrail" of sorts of a missile or rocket launch. The latter is a lot more likely to me, considering this was seen as far as Mexico! Also, there is a Chinese space station expected to crash near this area in the coming days, so perhaps this event is related. As always, you be the judge:

Really amazing, clear video showing multiple UFOs hovering over Phoenix - or possibly Austin - has been featured on many popular UFO news outlets, including Collective Evolution:
What could these mystery lights be? They certainly don't appear to be planes, Chinese lanterns, or drones. Could this be evidence of the paranormal, perhaps even aliens?
The only problem with this video is that despite all the witnesses shown on camera viewing these UFOs, there has not been much local testimony to come out of the area. Could this be a hoax, or perhaps a video from a long time ago and in a different city? Share your theories on this UFO sighting below in the comments or join the conversation on social media! If you were in Phoenix this evening and also witnessed these strange orbs, report your sighting!
According to a recent MUFON report (case 82432), a group of kids were gazing up at a helicopter and snapping photos of it when they saw a UFO that "scared them" and caused them to run to their parent. Luckily, the young witnesses snapped a photo of the strange "ball of energy": We noticed that a helicopter was circling the area in at a rather high speed. My children went out to look and started snapping photos of the helicopter when they noticed what can only be described a large ball of energy. For some reason they snapped a photo but this object scared them and they ran in to get me. I was outside within 15 seconds and the object was no longer where they had pointed. Upon asking questions I was shown this attached photo.
Could the children have witnessed a drone, ball lightning, or perhaps something more mysterious, like an alien craft? Share your thoughts in the comments or on Facebook or Twitter!
Multiple passengers on board a plane flying over Phoenix, Arizona, saw four unidentified lights outside the window. One of the passengers was able to take a photo, which his mother fortunately sent to MUFON (case 82289): My son saw 4 purple orbs hovering over Phoenix Arizona from his airplane window on 2/22/2017. out of the airplane window. It is not a reflection on the glass because the people in the seat in front of him spotted them first and then told him to look out. He snapped a picture. He witnessed them there 30 seconds and then vanished. His picture is a really good one and quite clear.
Although the photo appears like it may show a lens reflection or anomaly, according to the witness, the UFOs were seen with the naked eye, making this case especially intriguing.
TexasUFOs has reported on many uncharacteristically large meteors in recent months, and in fact, it seems that every year the fireballs get bigger and brighter and deadlier. Case in point: a very large and bright meteor exploded over Arizona on June 2nd at around 4 am; NASA confirmed the fireball to be an asteroid, weighing two tons and measuring three meters wide: Meteor was so bright, it turned night into day:
After the meteor exploded, it left smokey white trails:

No known meteor showers were expected for this evening, but the Earth did move in between Saturn and the Sun. Could Earth's new location have caused this collision, along with other extraordinary weather events happening on the planet right now?
