RIP Muhammad Ali: Another UFO Believer Passes On

The recently deceased Muhammad Ali, AKA "The Greatest," was a legendary boxing champion, vocal and controversial antiwar pacifist, and...  UFO believer? Not only did Ali sketch a UFO sighting for UFO researcher Timothy Beckley, but he made many quotes about UFOs and aliens over the years.

Beckley recounts visiting Ali at his Cherry Hill, New Jersey home, where the shared the story of seeing a pair of UFOs while working out in a New York City Park.

"I happened to look up just before dawn, as I often do while running, and there hovering above us was this brilliant light hanging as if by an invisible thread," Ali told Beckley, noting that he thought the object was a helicopter until another UFO flew into view.

According to the New York Times, Ali died of septic shock in a hospital at the age of 74 on Friday, June 3rd. This is unfortunately the fourth article that TexasUFOs has posted in just six months, grieving the loss of an important and famous member of the "UFO believing" community. Ali joins UFO believers Astronaut Edgar Mitchell, pop star Prince, and Megadeth drummer Nick Menza on the other side. Maybe they are the UFOs now, looking down on us from above.
