A Houston area resident witnessed several orange orbs traveling through the sky, moving up an down silently. That's definitely not how helicopters, planes, satellites, or drones behave. The night before, collection of orange orbs were seen hovering over Amarillo. Could these sightings be connected? The much-anticipated meteor shower shouldn't have been all that visible to Texans until the 22nd, a night after this event. So, I'm not sure we can link it to that, but you never know! Any ideas on what this could have been? Here's the full MUFON report: Solid orange lights (5 one after another) moving steady, then up 4 went ahead and 1 followed going up and down across the sky. No sound.

A parent and their son were driving along, when the son noticed some strange lights in the sky, So, they changed their route and followed the lights, which were simply hovering in the sky, not moving at all. There were eight to ten of the lights and they were orange in color. Could these have been road flares or Chinese lanterns? Seems odd if that was the case, as they appeared to be stationary for quite some time. As well, they eventually moved behind a cloud (or the cloud moved in front of them, I'm not sure). The pair of witnesses was about to take a photo when they lost sight. However, they did draw what they saw: Here's the full MUFON report: My son and I were traveling west on a street about three miles north of amarillo, Tx. As we were about to approach a stop sign at an adjacent street, my son asked, "Do you see some lights ahead of us?" I looked and did not see lights. I said no I don't see anything. He then said while pointing, over there (toward the northwest). I looked again and I did see them approximately a quarter to half mile away. We then proceded to cross the street that we were stopped at and get a better look. We drove about a quarter of a mile until we were almost due south of the objects. We did not notice any movement at all. They appeared stationary. We did not witness any change in the lights intensity while watching them. I looked for evidence of aircraft, but there were no other lights blinking, or flashing. There were 8-10 of these orange lights arranged in a very narrow area in the sky. There was no real pattern to the arrangement of the lights other than they were more or less scattered in a narrow vertical area. Once we came to a stop to take a picture, they slowly moved into a cloud base without us getting the chance to take a photo. There was no visible light refraction from the clouds.
Meanwhile, here's the full MUFON report: The object was about 2000-3000 feet above us and traveling West at about 200-250 mph. It was a rectangular orange light with a white center. Approxamately 30-40 feet in diameter that made no sound at all. Nobody could make out a shape , other than an Orangish light that made no sound. It was observed by any number of people that were at the Old Settlers Festival in Driftwood. We talked to several others that were in different parts of the campground that saw it and they were all mistified as to what it was . There were 6 of us in our camp that saw it , two of us are pilots. This light had no red or green wing lights nor any anti-collision lights that you would see on an airplane at night. It moved away about 7 miles in less than a minute then just blinked out. 15 minutes later it came back out of the West and made a turn and then moved away again to the west at the same speed(200+mph) and once again just blinked out of sight. I am an airplane buff and proudly can identify any aircraft that I see ,but this was nothing that I or anybody else could indentify.
South Texas has been full of strange encounters and sightings lately! Sleep paralysis is not a new phenomenon to scientists. Some people experience a scary, but fortunately temporary inability to move when falling asleep or waking up. Sleep paralysis can also create hallucinations, as well as the sensation that someone is watching you, or looking over you while you lay in bed. While scientists are content to leave it there, there's still plenty of room for the supernatural. Could sleep paralysis be induced by... well, aliens? Alien abductions and sleep paralysis have been linked throughout history - it's possible ET or even other people could exploit this "flaw" in the human brain and use it to paralyze someone and abduct or experiment on them. Maybe those aren't hallucinations or bad dreams, after all. What's with all that education, you ask? Well, someone who suffers from sleep paralysis on occasion experienced a pretty terrifying episode recently and they believe they were visited by ET. Having a "nightmare" wasn't the whole story... the sleep paralysis victim and his girlfriend also witnessed three, orange laser-like lights - round in size and also flirting with other colors, like blue - hover and then mysteriously vanish. Here's the full, riveting MUFON report: Much of my childhood I would go to Illinois, my father had a job for roofing. My last year there was when I was in 8th grade. During that year (2007) I experienced something out of the ordinary. I woke up in the middle of the night with something standing next to my bed. What made things worse was that I couldn't move at all. Only thing I would be able to move were my eyes and eye lids. Didn't think much of it even though it felt so real. Then again it happened with the same "thing" being next to my bed, again I couldn't move. This would happen three times before I came back to Texas on November 2007. The dreams went away. (Mind you that I never thought they were dreams, but I considered the fact after letting my parents and brothers know about what was happening.) Then it happened again here in my home in Texas with something standing next to my bed. The last incident in which the "thing" showed up I was sleeping tv was left on and window was open being 1ft away from me. There was no gusts but it was a cool night. I started moving around to get comfortable. In the middle of my movement I felt a presence again and again I couldn't move. Facing the window being paralyzed I could see a figure outside my window. Getting use to what was happening to me I closed my eyes tightly till it left. Only this time I felt it come in the room. My eyes being shut I felt I wasn't in the room anymore. I heard what closely resembled rain drops. I woke up being morning already. It was the last time I saw it, but it wasn't the last time I would wake up being unable to move. My girlfriend recently moved in with me on February of this year. I told her what would happen to me. Like everyone else she didn't really believe it was real. On April 22, 2013 between 3:25-4:30. The strangest thing happened. Both me and my girlfriend saw two orange lights small in size but its physical mass could be seen. Both resembling circle shape flashed and vanished from my room, as a 3rd light appeared being blue in color appeared flashed and vanished. The lights we both witnessed we not ordinary lights, resembling laser like lights. I believe I have been visited by beings not from here. Only conclusion I came up with. Hoping for a response on my experiences. Thanks.
One thing that's great about a meteor shower is it brings people out of their houses and gets them looking up at the sky! So, we've got a lot of UFO sightings to report this weeks. Here's one of many: Multiple Texans witnessed a round silver object, larger than a plane or satellite, possibly with some "cables or lines" hanging off of it, and sporting reflective lights. It traveled in the sky and was apparently headed southwest from Dallas to Granbury. The first report of this sighting hit MUFON on the 23rd, and then other people who read the report and saw the same object on the same night, chimed in with some comments. While we can't be sure the three witnesses saw the same object, it is rare to see such corroboration about such a specific type of sighting. Here's the original MUFON report: I was driving west in the 4900 block of Camp Bowie Blvd in Fort Worth, Texas on April 22 at approximately 1:00 pm. No cloud cover. I looked to the south and there was a silver object in the sky moving to the northeast. It was larger than a plane and very silver. My daughter was in the car with me and I told her there was an UFO. She saw it thought it might be a drone. It was silver and would flip on it's side and you could see there was nothing in the middle. The object had some type of cables or lines that were hanging out of it. The object was luminescent (very silver). I turned off of Camp Bowie to the north and tried to follow it. The entire episode was 30 seconds or a minute. Lost sight of it on Crestline as the trees blocked our view. Was a very strange experience. I do not think it was a weather balloon. I have never observed anything like it before. And comments from other witnesses: I saw a similiarly described object on April 22nd, 2013. I was out side around 12:30, just a little ways out of fort worth waiting on the anticipated meteor shower that night. I noticed there was alot of satelite action going on that night, but I have never seen anything of this caliber before. It was closer than any plan/orbiter i have ever experienced, it seemed larger as well. The shape was almost round and had reflecting lights on it. It was in the air for about a minute before I no longer had a view of it. I don't know what it was, but it was very strange and unique. - Tragikklee Faytal Did you see the UFO, too? Let me know!
