In the Terrel Hills area of San Antonio, many people saw a round glowing object moving up and down in the sky. Fortunately Vicky L, a reader submitted testimony: It rose quickly above trees and floated up and down. It was round and appeared to be glowing with a flame inside. Three of us saw it. I guess it was about 5 feet in diameter. It floated very far. Maybe a small type of hot air balloon/Chinese lantern??? Although the witness suggested this might have been a Chinese lantern, usually Chinese lanterns come in groups and hover or drift very slowly.
If you saw this UFO - or hot air balloon, Chinese lanterns, spaceship, or whatever it is! - as well, report your sighting!

Megan D and her 6-year-old daughter witnessed a strange craft hovering over them and graciously reported her sighting to Texas UFO Sightings: It was about 8 pm so there was still a little light in the sky . When me and my 6yr old son saw a helicopter because it was stop in the air hovering . But then I realized that the lights were located in strange places on the air craft . Then as it went out of are sight I was light weird . But then it came around us again so I pulled over . The thing looked like a platform . It had no kind of geometric shape.... and that explained why the lights were not in earthly made crafts. They did mot blink but stayed light . Two to the side and one up between them like they were all across the platform . Have you seen any crafts that aren't helicopters or planes flying around in Lufkin? Report your sighting!
A group of three bright white lights gathering themselves into a triangle formation and then breaking formation and gradually fading away one by one has hit YouTube. Along with it comes a very detailed and suspenseful testimony --- these do appear to be orbs traveling in an intelligent manner and they join a chorus of other triangle sightings from this past year. In the 6 minute-ish video, you can hear at least two people - a man and a woman - excitedly discussing the perplexing event happening in front of them. Screenshot #1: Screenshot #2: Check out the full video: ...and the YouTube description: Me and a friend of mine recorded this video March 9 2014 . It was at sunset in Hale County Texas . We were standing facing West in the middle of a cotton field 50 miles outside any actual town when we noticed an object hovering up in the sky West. As we began to decide which way was North looking for the North Star we noticed a second object coming straight toward us in the sky coming from the West in the distance faster than any plane moves. By the time we pulled our cameras out to start recording, it had already made its way to the first object hovering in the sky. As we began to record the two visable objects , a third object came from the west to join the other two obects in the sky. Once the third object met with the other two it began forming a symmetrical triangle in the sky. Then we noticed it began to hold its formation for several seconds in a symmetrical triangle . As we watched the third object appeared to began to cross paths with the first object that was hovering , the object that we first noticed hovering in the West sky , hovered off west and disapeared leaving the two other objects hovering back West but in opposite directions they appeared to come from . During this time we had seen what appeared to be multiple streaks of flaming , shooting stars in the sky , falling from what appeared to be space like shooting stars but a whole display in the west sky I want to say 8 or more which was not captured in video feed... I also noticed something that most people wouldnt believe but WHAT I KNOW IS THERE. If you can verify this sighting, report your experiences with this UFO or feel free to get in touch with the witness himself, Marchstarcarrier3@gmail.com.
I can't vouch for his claims that he has captured a "mothership" in this recording and in fact, I can't be sure the person who wrote the YouTube description is the actual witness.
A YouTube video - posted by a friend or acquaintance of the anonymous witness - featuring a pair of white lights that appear to belong to some kind of craft or plane just hovering there in the sky (or flying toward the camera in a straight line) has hit the web. All by itself, the video doesn't necessarily show a UFO, but it's still worth sharing as the witness claims this was definitely no plane. Watch the YouTube video and read its description below: This was sent to me. I did not take it. He swears it's not planes, but I will leave that up to y'all to decide. Can you confirm this UFO sighting? If you saw this, too, please report it!
A Texas UFO Sightings reader snapped a photo of a collection of orange lights flying silently and low through the night sky. Could these simply have been Chinese lanterns caught up in the wind? The description and photo don't really resemble your typical set of Chinese lanterns, though this was a Saturday night - when lantern-worthy celebrations tend to happen. Check out the photo and testimony below, which is very similar to a sighting in Fredericksburg from the same night: Trail or orange/amber lights flying south to north in what appeared to be a formation. Too slow for jets, I estimate, more of helicopter speed, but no sound at all. Altitude was significantly lower than passenger aircraft flying overhead at the same time. Estimate of 2000-5000 feet (maybe). There were approximately 50 individual lights, possibly more. We observed them continually for 15-20 minutes around 8:45-9:00pm this evening. Any ideas? Have you seen any strange lights like this recently in Texas? Make a report!
