Days before Austinites saw a triangle UFO fly over a concert at ACL, a similar event occurred in Corpus Christi. The last few months, in fact, has seen a suspicious spike in "triangle" UFO sightings. Here's the original MUFON report, which describes three lights flying in formation and then doing a U-turn: I was outside enjoying a cold front that had blown in looking at the stars when I noticed three lights in a formation like a triangle not very bright a dull white color I thought the were some birds at first but they weren't it moved fast made no noise, flew Straight then did a uturn then an L turn speed seemed constant. I wanted to grab my camera but it was moving fast and only had 30-45 sec to view before I lost sight of it due to distance I'm glad I viewed it for as long as I could without distraction. My feelings were that it was a very curious site to see. I star gaze almost every night and have never seen anything like it or move like it did. After I lost site I texted my friends and family and went online to see if anyone else had reported the shape and characteristics of what I saw I'd never heard of this shape before but it seems to be somewhat common Have you seen a triangle UFO in Texas? So the mass triangle UFO sighting at ACL is not going to die. Not as long as the best explanation anyone can offer up is Chinese lanterns. (Eye roll.) Well, it's possible that mysterious triangle craft that checked out the Cure at Austin City Limits may have been accompanied by some other unknown flying objects. A little before the "triangle" showed up, someone spotted a saucer-shaped disk with three lights (or three separate lights forming a line). They kindly submitted their encounter to TUS and even shared an illustration of what they saw: Prior to the triangle on the same trajectory was a saucer shaped something that at first I dismissed as a balloon but have since had to reconsider. It flipped like a coin across the sky. I've done an artist rendering. I wonder if anyone else caught video of it? Were these more Chinese lanterns? Thoughts? If you saw this at ACL, please report your sighting!
A father and his daughter were going on an evening walk with their dogs when they spotted a peculiar bright satellite in the sky, like a "bright planet moving across the sky." However, it was way too low to the ground and bright to be a satellite. Then another light popped up alongside it, followed by more lights (this time, flashing). The witness kindly submitted a description of their encounter to TUS, and is wondering if anyone else saw these strange lights (please report your sighting if you did): I'm always looking at the sky at night. There are tons of planes in the air here, but I have never seen anything like this. About 6pm my 10 yr old daughter and I walked the dogs down our street and she has been interested in satellites. She said look dad a satellite. In the west about 20 degrees above the horizon I saw a light that looked Like a bright planet moving across the sky. A little too bright to be a satellite and appeared lower to me. I started to say no it's a plane, but it was moving faster than your average Lear jet on landing approach. Also no sound. About that time another light popped up next to it and it looked like a winged aircraft with lights on either wing, but no sound, no aviation flashers. There was no shape, just lights. Then I said well that's no satellite. I still could have written it off, but then several strobe flashes appeared on the rear between the 2 original lights. 5 or 6 all bright white lights, no colored strobes. Unlike any plan I've seen. It was pretty far north west of us now and I watched it disappear in a few seconds. Maybe 10 Seconds for the whole siting. It flew south to north. Just wondering if anyone else saw it.
Wow, so we've got another case of the Disappearing Star. As far as UFO sightings go, it's not uncommon for people to read too much into stars and satellites. However, recently we've had a really crazy wave of sightings of stars that hover for quite some time, and then suddenly disappear and reappear, change colors, and move about the sky. Even satellites don't really do this. Here's the latest of these sightings, this time in San Antonio and captured on video (read description below): LOOK WHAT I SAW.. AND RECORDED ..!! I was driving home from work and saw this very bright light in the sky.. I keep an eye on it for about 15 min while I was driving home it wasn't moving and I been watching info about the Comet Ison so I figured that was it.. I got home and started recording .I was outside for about 15-20min than my neighbor walked up.. He looked up and said wow that's bright.. I pressed record again.. after I stopped recording we where talking on the sidewalk looking at each other when from my peripheral vision I saw a streak and when I turned to look at the bright light again.. It was gone.. . Have you seen a new star in the sky, especially one that disappears randomly or moves around? Report your UFO sighting!
A photo has captured several black dots of light, hovering in the daytime sky. The person who snapped the photo uploaded it to YouTube, along with a description - there were apparently hundreds of these "UFOs," just floating around for an entire hour. Could this be some sort of debris caught up in the wind? If you've got ideas as to what this Texan saw, share them in the comments!
