A resident of South Texas witnessed and filmed a bright white light traveling in the daytime sky and eventually disappearing behind some clouds. At one point, a strange black object zips by but this could very well be a bug or bird. As well, the white object could simply be a plane or helicopter. Whatever the case, check out the play-by-play photos, the video, and the witness description: So I was out feeding the dogs when I look up to the sky and almost directly over my head I saw this spherical shaped object. I have no clue what it might be. It can't be a plane, at least I assume, because it is static. Then, goes behind a cloud but never comes out. My guess is as good as yours. Drone, balloon, alien? Way down in South Texas, a ball of light slowly moved through the sky, and was accompanied by other anomalous objects (which almost appeared to be in a dog fight with each other). The witness captured a photo of the orb, as well as some video. The video, unfortunately, was not retrievable for me but I'll post it here if I get my hands on it. Here's the snapshot: Here's the full MUFON report: 1. Watching Television 2. My sister told me come out and look at object in the sky. 3. I thought it was a party balloon. 4. object appeared to be spherical. Object moved very slowly towards the SSE. 5. I looked at it a minute then grabbed camera. I later tried looking at it through telescope. 6. I lost sight of the object when it moved too far away. FYI We live in airport fly space. It is strange that no airplanes landed during or after, to the best of my recollection, after the event. The video was shot from a camera, image is not really good. There were other objects in the sky that seemed to appear from no where. at first i thought them to be birds in, what i would describe as a dog fight. But they disappeared. I did take video of one of the objects as it moved over my house but the camera was not good enough to capture. I will include it anyways. I did also capture video of the star like object.
A Texan who regularly scans the sky for cool sights was lucky enough to spot a UFO - a star-like object hovering (unsuspiciously, like a star or planet or even satellite would do) and then making a sudden move, and eventually changing directions (following along a "J" path) and seemingly headed off toward Mexico. What's especially interesting is the witness of this event says he's seen similar UFOs before, and has even tried to report on them, but never had pictures until now. The photos he submitted to MUFON are blurry and not terribly revealing, but they do show two objects in the sky. Could this have been a helicopter? A satellite? Here's the full MUFON report (photo below): I had initially tried to contact the MUFON investigator that had contacted me before via email but got no response. Hello Mr. (name withheld). It has been awhile since our last communication but I did not see it necessary to contact you without some kind of photographic proof. Well, I finally got lucky and got a few pics of an object that I believe I had seen once before about a month and a half ago that ended up going on the same course. At that time my daughter had tried to film it with a digi cam but it had already sped out of range in a southern direction. This sighting was about 9:30 ish' p.m. I say "it" because I think it might be the same object, maybe that I saw and photographed this morning. Both objects just appeared to be balls of light. It was about 6:20 this morning of 4/7/2013 and I was coming out of my parents house headed over to mine. As usual, I scanned the sky but did not see anything moving or out of the ordinary. I was in between both houses in the front yard and began playing with my two dogs(the dogs were not effected by the object) for just a bit when I decided to go ahead and proceed inside my house when I took a glance to the West skyward. At first one of the bright stars which I thought it was, was not moving but then all of a sudden it started moving which startled me. I watched it for about two seconds and it's direction was headed eastward toward the gulf or my direction. I then ran into my house and grabbed my camera which is a kodak Z981. I have to tell you I did have a feeling of excitement with a bit of fear because I did not expect what I thought was a distant star or planet to just start moving. When I got back outside and was preparing the camera, the object then made a J movement and changed direction southward toward Mexico with an increase in speed. I did however manage to get one good pic that is steady. The first is shaky but the object is somewhat visible. The second is shaky with no object but the third is decent with the object being able to be seen in photo view zoomed in. It does have a shape that reminds me of a tadpole flying backwards wich shows it actually has more than one light. This will be the third object I have seen that has taken the same southerly course toward Mexico. The first being what my wife and I saw when I first submitted my report to MUFON back in September of 2011 and the one I saw about a month and a half ago. I will probably get some rest now since I have been awake all night but I wanted to send you this as soon as possible. And here's the best photo of the lot, zoomed in. I do see two objects in the sky, but I'm not sure which one the witness is referring to:
Down in Los Fresnos, TX, there was quite the UFO sighting. Someone submitted a report to MUFON about a loud, vibrating ball of light that hovered outside their window and apparently cut the power to their house - and their neighborhood! Many neighbors witnessed the light, and some saw it shoot back up into the sky. The power company and the police responded to the incident, and neither has an explanation so far. Looking forward to some follow up... do you live in the area, did you experience this?? At approx 22:45 on Feb 6th 2013 a rumbling/grumble/vibrating & fluctuating ball of light appeared outside my second floor north facing bedroom window startling my wife and I for approx. 10-20 seconds. As I moved downstairs my children were heading upstairs reporting the same thing outside their south facing individual bedroom windows on the first floor. We immediately went outside and saw numerous neighbors emerging from their residences searching for something. Our home's electricity faltered, although power remained on numerous homes the entire length of our street had lost complete power. After speaking with some neighbors they reported the same experience that happened at our home, one neighbor was outside and reported the lights hovering in the of and then shot straight up. Police patrols were immediately apparent and it appeared they were searching for something, at times racing down the roads back and forth. Power company vehicles showed up later and at approx. 12:30 am the other residents homes were returned to power. Our new (Dec 2012) in-ground pool lite was burnt out by the incident and the cable TV, internet and telephone all stopped working. This morning 2/7/13 the power company trucks began working on the power lines behind my home and the cable guy just showed up to fix the issue. The police patrols reported to the residents on the block that they could not explain the incident nor the fact that most of the homes along the block all reported similar lights & noises outside their windows at the same time. The power lines only run behind my house and my immediate neighbor to the west neither of us lost power just the other homes on the same street. The 4 adult members of my family experienced this same event on different floor of the home with the windows facing different directions. There were numerous other neighbors who also experienced this event. A tweep from Rancho Vejo, TX (near Brownsville/Matamoros) has shared a UFO sighting from April 26th. Apparently, "it was a light in the sky not visible since it was early in the AM but I'm sure it was no plane."
