"It looked like a black pipe... just sitting in the sky" - UFO Photographed in Daytime Over Dallas4/15/2022 Updated Story April 15th, 2022 Well, it seems Twitter agrees...this was no UFO at all, but a solar balloon! (See photos below.) I think this is a very fair theory. However, the trouble is I can't 100% verify that there was a solar balloon in the area at the time. After all, it appears most solar balloons are toys and used for recreation, so there wouldn't be a way to track them. According to world-weather.info, it was sunny in Dallas with little to no wind, and so it is possible this large solar balloon could have been hovering for a while: Updated Story April 14, 2022 As of today, I am still looking into this case. In fact, I'd like to share a comment from a possible witness to ANOTHER UFO just like this one! Maybe it can shed some new light on everything... Richard P writes: "I got pictures only. I was a passenger in my work truck. I was able to shoot pic burst on my iPhone. I was at Spring Valley and Dallas North Tollway. I first noticed it driving east on 635. Once we exited onto the service road, it was still just sitting there. I watched but never saw it moving. We continued driving till i got close enough to photograph it a few seconds at the light at the Spring Valley light. The photo doesn't give it justice...I’m still baffled with lots of unanswered questions. I don't know of anything besides a helicopter that can just sit still in the sky." Updated story October 2019: TexasUFOSightings has received a new report of this strange hovering "black pipe" over Dallas! The second potential witness of this UFO just wrote in about what they saw, and they also claim to have video footage. I haven't seen the video yet, but I wanted to share the compelling report in the meantime: "On sept 27,2019 at 10:52 am I was driving north on the Dallas north tollway just south of the 635 interchange. I spotted in the air to my right a long black pipe in the air. the pipe was motionless. It is the same object that I saw reported on your site for the same day. I captured a brief video of the object on my cell phone." Original story
A dark, rod-shaped object was photographed in the daytime sky over Dallas. According to the witness, who submitted a report to MUFON (case 103638), the UFO was totally stationary, ruling out a balloon: Something just sitting in the sky What do you think of this photo? Does it show a UFO? Or is it a misidentification (blimp, party balloon, weather balloon), or even a hoax? Or could this be a real unidentified flying object; other cigar UFOs have been reported in Texas this month, so perhaps it is all connected!

According to Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, the DeDe in the Morning show, and other various online sources, a strange ring of lights (you could even say, flying saucer) was spotted over a neighborhood in Dallas. A video showing the UFO was uploaded to multiple channels, sparking news headlines, online comments, and a debate - are aliens invading Texas, or did this witness just misidentify a light pole? In the video, you can hear the witness reacting to the UFO, and you can also watch a plane fly by it. I can't find the original source video, so please let me know if have a link to that, or if you yourself were a witness to this! In the meantime, check out the video and some analysis below, and you be the judge on whether or not this was an extraterrestrial visitation, or a man-made, boring like a street light: I've covered sightings like this before, that were not as easy to debunk as street lights. 2014 was a very active year for these "flying saucers" in Houston, and although I'm sure some photos of street lights ended up in the mix, as far as I know, these sightings were never fully explained:
Video showing a potentially shape-shifting orb hovering and then ascending over Texas has been uploaded to MUFON (case 120263). The footage is great because it was taken during the daytime, and you can sometimes hear the witness discuss what is unfolding. However, there are no landmarks or buildings that appear in the video, and so we have no frame of reference for how large or fast-moving this UFO really was. As well, with most UFO videos, it is not high quality enough to get a detailed, close-up look at the object. Now, is it possible that this witness just captured a party balloon on camera? By accident? Check out the footage below, and then let me know what you think in the comments, or on Facebook or Twitter: We were driving when I saw some bright lights that were just so bright, I thought maybe a drone but after watching it clearly was not! We pulled over and watched as it just hovered then moved not like any aircraft there were lights that flashed white and blue so very bright and there was a plane with a trail at one point nothing like what we saw pictures do no justice to in person 12/6/21 Update: The witness, Tracy Nuttal, has followed up with more detail about the UFO - according to Tracy, the UFO was moving at a very fast speed, and appeared metallic but also looked unusually blurry at times: I was driving and as far as I could tell, it was going in a straight line in an easterly direction. I was going around 60 mph and it was going faster than me. If I had to guess, it was somewhere around 100 mph. A metallic looking craft or object with a green/yellowish hue was spotted flying in the daytime sky over Texas. Tracy Nuttal sent the following photo and testimony to me: Metallic with a yellowish hue I'm still trying to learn more about this sighting, but if you have ideas on what this could be, share your thoughts on Twitter or Facebook.
Did you see this UFO as well? Report it! 12/6/21 Update: Right now the consensus online is that this photo simply shows stars! Unfortunately I am not in contact with the witness to learn more, but since they didn't see the objects with their naked eye, that seems to be a possible explanation. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments!
According to a recent MUFON report (case 119400), a group of UFO orbs appeared over the downtown Dallas skyline earlier this month. The witness did not see the UFOs with their naked eye, however. They were with their neighbor at a time of the sighting, simply gazing up an interesting-looking cloud. Their neighbor took a few photos, and it was only when the two viewed the photos later, that they noticed the odd-looking objects: Fleet of random (sp) shaped objects appear over Dallas Skyline I don't typically feature photos that show UFOs not seen with the naked eye - because those UFOs almost always also look like lens flares and various artifacts that, well, wouldn't be seen with the naked eye!
However, this recent series of photographs compels me! That's not to say there isn't a mundane explanation, like balloons, but I'd love to see what all of you think. Share your theories and thoughts in the comments below, or on Facebook or Twitter. Do you live in Downtown Dallas? Did you also see or photograph these UFOs?
