Mystery Aircraft Reported in Texas Just Days Before Famous 1897 Aurora Texas UFO Crash - Old News Headlines Reveal
Article Updated: Check out UFOJane's video about this as well as other mystery air ship sightings and alien encounters from 1896 and 1897:
You may know about the story of large, cigar-shaped aircraft that crashed over Aurora, Texas in 1897 (well before the Wright Brothers first took flight and UFOs could be easily debunked as planes or drones). But did you know that just a few days after that amazing incident, other sightings of a mystery airship were reported over Texas, specifically in the cities of Sherman, Fort Worth, Hillsboro, Marshall, and Paris. It is worth noting that there were other sightings of "mystery airships" reported throughout the world in the late 1800s. Coincidence? As always, you be the judge:
April 18th, 1897 UFO sighting in Austin
“At least, three young men who were camping up on Bull Creek at Huddle’s Point, say they saw it. Messrs. Geo. Powell, Ted Tobin and Jas. Caldewell went up the lake Saturday afternoon for for a couple of days’ camp and pitched their tents … About 3 a.m. it began to rain and the men were compelled to get up and fasten the tent. It was at this time they say the mysterious aircraft. They claim it was in sight fully 15 minutes and are positive they could not be mistaken. At intervals of every few seconds, it would throw its searchlights, and the boys say the light looked as big as four ordinary arc lights.”
April 17th, 1897 Aurora UFO crash
According to the local news in Aurora, Texas, a strange and very large cigar-shaped craft crashed into a windmill, and a deceased "alien" body was found inside. The townspeople buried the body, and ever since, the town of Aurora has lived with this amazing history.
Many attempts to debunk the Aurora, Texas UFO crash have been made unsuccessfully. And these other sightings of strange airships over Texas and other parts of the US from the time, which have only recently made headlines, give the case tremendous weight!

A large, "shiny black triangle" UFO ominously hovered over the highway, according to a witness report recently sent into MUFON (case 94005). Strange patterns and "some kind of writing" was noticed alongside the sides of the craft:
Shiny black thick triangle hovering in complete silence right of the highway
What is interesting is the main witness to the famous Rendlesham incident in the UK in the 90s also claimed to see mysterious markings on a triangle UFO craft.
Should this latest triangle UFO case join other great cases like the Rendlesham UFO or is there an easy explanation? Share your thoughts in the comments or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
In the meantime, if you've seen a triangle UFO, report it, and also take some time to browse all recent triangle UFOs in the word:
Two videos showing a bright ball of light hovering mysteriously in the sky over Fort Worth have been uploaded to YouTube. Could both these lights be something easy to explain, like stars, or even planes coming in for a landing? Or is there a more mysterious explanation, and could these UFOs be related? As always, you be the judge:

A really detailed photo of a reflective T-shaped object hovering in the daytime sky has been submitted to MUFON (case 91719). The couple who witnessed the object disagreed about what it was - with one of the witnesses believing it to be a Mylar balloon, and the other believing it to be a UFO:
was sitting on the back porch watching clouds move in. Saw the object in the sky and grabbed camera to video. Got an almost 2minute video of the object as it moved with the wind north to south. Can not judge size or height but guessing maybe 500-1000 feet up. At first, I assumed it must have just been a balloon since it made no sound and seemed to be carried with the strong winds at the time. After viewing the video, I am no longer convinced it was a balloon. The object changed shape many times in the 2mins. I captured about 30-40 of the images from still images in the video and quickly threw it up on youtube and here is the link [moved to FI section/CMS/jpg]
What do you think of this weird looking photo? Does it show a UFO or a just a balloon? Share your theories below in the comments or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!

A mysterious bright blue ball of light was seen hovering and also moving around the night sky in Fort Worth, according to a witness report sent to NUFORC (case 139213). Although NUFORC investigators suggested this "blue sphere" could be a lens flare, they also explained that a lens flare could not be viewed with the naked eye. For the latter reason, I think this is a sighting worth sharing:
I observed and filmed a brilliant bright blue sphere moving in the night sky, as I stood outside my house in Ft. Worth, TX
There were no photos attached to the NUFORC report, despite the witness and NUFORC mentioning their existence.
However, many other photos and reports of similarly strange blue spheres and hovering orbs have been documented over the years, and so you can compare this case to others, and be the judge yourself if it represents a UFO or not!
As always, if you've seen a UFO or alien or anything mysterious like this before, report your sighting!
