Stephenville is a UFO hot spot, so it's not terribly surprising one of the better recent sightings hails from there... this time, the UFOs had company. Read the full report: 3 f16s screaming to the west of my house were chasing after 5 flashing ufos near the stephenville area. they appeared to play a cat and mouse game for a few minutes teasing each other and then headed off to the northeast I thought I had some video but it seems that it turned out to be shaky and non descript sorry I didnt get video, but my wife and I witnessed this event.

Earlier this week, some pretty destructive tornadoes made their mark on North Texas (from Granbury to Fort Worth). Homes were pummeled and people were killed. But there's a new twist to this sad story, adding a little mystery. The RT news network aired footage of one of the twisters and a viewer caught something really sneaky and really neat - a cloud-like UFO zipping right by the twister. Is this a cloaked craft? Is this some sort of natural anomaly produced by a tornado? UFOs have a habit of showing up alongside natural and man-made disasters. Whether it's because there are more eyes on these events, and so more opportunities to spot UFOs, or there's a very real correlation remains to be seen. Watch the video for yourself and let me know what you think it is:
One thing that's great about a meteor shower is it brings people out of their houses and gets them looking up at the sky! So, we've got a lot of UFO sightings to report this weeks. Here's one of many: Multiple Texans witnessed a round silver object, larger than a plane or satellite, possibly with some "cables or lines" hanging off of it, and sporting reflective lights. It traveled in the sky and was apparently headed southwest from Dallas to Granbury. The first report of this sighting hit MUFON on the 23rd, and then other people who read the report and saw the same object on the same night, chimed in with some comments. While we can't be sure the three witnesses saw the same object, it is rare to see such corroboration about such a specific type of sighting. Here's the original MUFON report: I was driving west in the 4900 block of Camp Bowie Blvd in Fort Worth, Texas on April 22 at approximately 1:00 pm. No cloud cover. I looked to the south and there was a silver object in the sky moving to the northeast. It was larger than a plane and very silver. My daughter was in the car with me and I told her there was an UFO. She saw it thought it might be a drone. It was silver and would flip on it's side and you could see there was nothing in the middle. The object had some type of cables or lines that were hanging out of it. The object was luminescent (very silver). I turned off of Camp Bowie to the north and tried to follow it. The entire episode was 30 seconds or a minute. Lost sight of it on Crestline as the trees blocked our view. Was a very strange experience. I do not think it was a weather balloon. I have never observed anything like it before. And comments from other witnesses: I saw a similiarly described object on April 22nd, 2013. I was out side around 12:30, just a little ways out of fort worth waiting on the anticipated meteor shower that night. I noticed there was alot of satelite action going on that night, but I have never seen anything of this caliber before. It was closer than any plan/orbiter i have ever experienced, it seemed larger as well. The shape was almost round and had reflecting lights on it. It was in the air for about a minute before I no longer had a view of it. I don't know what it was, but it was very strange and unique. - Tragikklee Faytal Did you see the UFO, too? Let me know!
"Definitely Under Intelligent Control" - Houston Mass Fireball Sighting Preceded By This One?3/23/2013 Artist Rendering from "Lights in the Texas Sky"
A resident of Granbury spotted what she thought was a simple satellite at first, but it was effortlessly and quickly flying through the sky, changing colors - from white to red to white again, then to pink, and purple, and blue - and it also appeared to be flaming at times. At one point, the light was so bright, it was "blinding." This event happened a few days before the mass fireball sighting in Houston - yes that one that was apparently a Chinese rocket, but still is technically unidentified! This witness believes the two sightings are of the same "ship." As you know, the Houston fireball happened shortly after the Russia meteor impact, and was bursting with mystery, complicated by other similar sightings in the area. The full testimony, from "Lights in the Texas Sky": At 5:20 am, on the morning of Sunday, February 24th, I witnessed a UFO that appeared to be a satellite at first. I was observing a white light traveling East to West, when it slowly changed into a red light and became engulfed in flames. I saw white hot, red and orange embers flying off of this glowing red object. As though it were a fireball meteor (Bolide). We have two strange reports coming out of Granbury, TX (outside Dallas/Fort Worth). The first is from April 27th. According to a MUFON report, a craft of some kind was flying in low Earth orbit and then exited the atmosphere. an object, white no blinking lights was moving from north to south at an unknown altitude (probably 20000 ft) moved in a strait line then faded from sight in a clearly marked leaving the earths atmosphere pattern. This was a clear case of a vehicle leaving the planet, it was in the area of sky dominated by the orion constellation. as I reiterate it was plain that this object was definitely leaving the planets atmosphere. there was an airplane in the vicinity but I don't think it was connected in any way since that plane was probably at about 8-10 thousand feet Then a couple of days later, on April 30th, residents of Granbury - and Johnson and Hood County at largeheard unmistakable sonic booms! This reminds us of the phenomenon that's taken the world by storm - the strange booms and rattles being heard all over, including San Antonio and Dallas. (1, 2, 3) Lightsinthetexassky.blogspot.com has collected some amazing "ear"-witness reports: "I actually saw the sonic air wave disturbance, with this one. You know how everything is distorted slightly in a circular pattern around a blast, as the percussion waves push outward. You can see that in video clips of massive explosions. I saw that today. Just as the blast wave hit us, everything became completely out of focus, a split second after the booms. We thought the giant cottonwood tree was going to fall on us. The tree was swaying back and forth, and over a dozen branches came crashing down all around us. I have storm glass through out the house, since the last boom we had. I know that there are broken windows all over Granbury today. We heard many, many police sirens right after the boom as well." This event seems to have affected other cities in Johnson and Hood County, as well. Someone on Google was also searching for info regarding a sonic boom in Dallas the same night.
