Approximately 2:00 pm, I was in our family tree house. I was looking skyward into a clear blue sky, about 20 degrees straight up, not a cloud in the sky. Then I saw server white objects at what I guessed to be 15-20k ft. altitude. As I am located near a major US airport (dfw) I knew the objects to be well above commercial aircraft approach corridors. And I thought it well above any bird’s flight.
I noticed what looked like 4 birds relatively close together. They were white objects that soon glinted from the sun light reflection and I knew they were metallic in construction. I served in the military in an aviation capacity so I knew these were aircraft. 3 of the crafts held a fixed position in a triangular formation that did not seem connected, but they did seem to rotate together in the triangle formation while the 4th craft slowly arched around the formation. As I stared at them for 8-12 seconds they eventually de-materialized simultaneously. I watched the area nearly unblinking for 10 minutes and saw nothing further.
My daughter’s cousin had a similar experience on Dec. 1. She lives approx. 5 miles from our house. The experience was near identical and she took 3 photos with her phone. When I saw these photos I was shocked as they could have been actual photos of my experience that day. One of the photos actually shows a saucer craft.

I had been out watching for the Delta Heavy launch because I wanted to take some photos. It was delayed by some minutes. When the launch began I started snapping photos. I couldn't see if the camera had captured anything. Finally, I saw the contrail of the missile in my viewer. So, I began snapping. I was hoping to photograph the separation of the tanks. No such luck. What surprised me is that the contrail went all the way across the sky.

When I came back to my apartment I connected the camera to my computer and began looking at the photos. The first few showed only sky. Then, I saw this one. My jaw dropped. The sun was behind the tree and the missile was off to the right. I missed photographing the missile but I got what appears to be a swarm of UFOs along the flight path of the Delta rocket. The dots did not appear in any of the other photos mainly because I was moving across the sky trying to continue to photograph the rocket.

It was like the spiraling formation described in the video linked below, only it was smaller and more compact. It looked like a silver, double-helix shaped swarm of objects spiraling horizontally from east to west. We were in the Vista Ridge Mall parking lot (now known as Music City Mall). My daughter was with me when we saw it and other people getting out of their cars to walk into the mall stopped to look at it too. As far as I know, no one ever reported it to anyone.

Witness also wrote that the objects looked like they were traveling in and out of formation, similar to double-helix:

Bright blue saucer/disc seen-

Walking to the store, it came from no where, bright blue light dancing and turning in a circle, then an airplane came and the blue light descended down until the plane passed, then it came right back up !! Creepy and trippy experience!!

Enormous glowing white boomerang

Absolutely enormous glowing white boomerang shaped object flying north to south. I first thought it was a cloud, as I saw it out of my periphery, but realized it was moving extremely fast. It had to be very high, as there were no distinguishing characteristics. This object was truly enormous and completely silent. The color was completely even, it really looked like a lit cloud. Multiple planes were in the sky, as DFW and Love Field airports are close by. This occurred about 9:50 pm (CST). I was out with my dogs. Biggest object I’ve ever seen flying in the sky.

I came out to my patio to drink coffee, look at stuff on my phone and intermittently watch flights come into DFW. I've been around aircraft almost my entire life. As a child, I could identify aircraft by sight whether they were sitting on the ground or flying above me. My father was a private pilot and my Grandfather worked for McDonnell Douglas (Project Manager on the C-5) so they used to quiz me on the aircraft we saw while driving or whatever. My point is, I am very well versed on aircraft. I had started walking around (coming off of an injury) and when I glanced up, there was a highly reflective spot hovering in the sky. I stood there trying to figure out what I was looking at. Because it was hovering, I honestly thought it was a helicopter but there weren't rotors. It kind of looked like the main body of an airplane but it didn't have wings. It was cylindrical and extremely reflective. I think it was rotating because the sun glanced off of it intermittently or at least that was my impression.

I decided I had to take a picture of it while it was hovering there and right after I snapped the first shot, it started to move. It moved so fast that of the two pics I snapped right in a row, it is visible in the first pic but not in the second. There was a disturbance around the craft that I could see on my phone. It reminded me of the Wifi symbol. Like, gasses coming out of the sides and radiating out. The effect is noted in the pic if you zoom in as far as possible. I uploaded both pics so that MUFON can see it was there and then gone in the time it took to press the button rapidly right in a row.

At first, I was shocked and then intrigued. It's rare for me to be stumped when identifying airplanes so when I didn't have an answer, later, I went looking online to see if others had witnessed an object similar to what I saw. I found similar objects on YouTube posted by others who saw basically the same kind of craft I did.
