6/14 Update: Three UFOs were spotted hovering in nearby Alton around the same time. A video featuring a bright light hovering in the air and then slowly descending has hit YouTube... not sure what the UFO did when the witness stopped recording, but a friend of the witnessed commented: I can verify that this video is from a trusted source whom I've known for several years and is a law enforcement officer in McAllen, Texas. This is one of the most intriguing videos we've seen lately and will continue to analyze. Thanks for posting, Jesus. So, apparently the police are on it! Phew! If you have any more information about this UFO, please share. Bright lights that first appear as stars and then make perplexing movements are some of the most common UFO sightings - most recently, we've seen this in San Antonio and Houston.

A pair of Texans witnessed several white lights in the sky traveling very slowly - almost hovering - in a line and appearing to blink like normal air crafts. The witnesses caught the event on film and in it you can hear them speculating that perhaps they're looking at Chinese lanterns. They don't seem too confident in that theory however: "What are those? Are you aware of any celebrations in the McAllen area that might have warranted some Chinese lanterns? Do you have theories on what this could have been? Have at it in the comments. If you saw these UFOs as well, report it!
A YouTuber has been posting videos of strange orbs of light traveling about the nighttime sky - flying slow and sometimes just sitting there and hovering. At one point, you can see a large craft with three lights (forming a triangle) pass by one of these orbs: Here's the latest, full video: Meanwhile, a McAllen, TX resident (Andreas Nava) comented on the YouTube account, corroborating the footage and claiming to have seen these things land, and even provided Google Earth coordinates of the landing site: Im in South Texas, McAllen to be exact, and I have been seeing and in fact have chased such triangular objects in my area. I also chased them to a landing site that they have been using. Check it out on google earth: 26°14'3.19"N, 98°16'20.21"W. I have also caught photos and have multiple witnesses who have also seen these craft as well. They seem to be flying from Moore Air Field and over to Mexico. I chased them to the landing site shared with you on two separate occasions. I do not think these craft come form outside our planet. If anything, they may be extradementional and have the ability to go from a hover to super speeds and "disappear," as I have seen them do. TUS will continue to investigate this video and the resulting comment, but if you've seen anything like this in South Texas, report it!
