Texas UFO Sightings received a video of two lights - or a craft - hovering over New Braunfels, Texas. One light dims few times, while the other light is solid. Could these be stars or satellites, maybe drones? Or could these lights be connected to a single craft? Unfortunately no description or details were shared along with the video, which you can check out below:
Texas UFO Sightings will try to track down more info, but in the meantime, if you also saw this and can help verify this sighting, please share.
A New Braunfels resident witnessed an extremely large craft - seemingly the "size of a football field" - fly very low and slow overhead. At first they noticed it during the daytime hours and so couldn't make out much, but at nighttime they were able to capture this photo:
A very large object first seen hovering over Loop 337 south between Landa Street and hwy 46/walnut. The size of a football field at least flying very slow and low at first. Changed directions twice. Low hum made me think it was a blimp. But at ten o'clock at night? I have several pics. And a video that won't upload.
Apologies to the witness and any other Texas UFO Sightings reader who has tried, and failed to submit a photo or video of their sighting due to Weebly technical limits - I'll see about a solution.
In the meantime, if you've seen a UFO in Texas recently, please do share your experience. And if you think you know what this particular UFO was, feel free to share your ideas in the comments or on the Facebook page.
An orange ball of light has been spotted making strange movements and speeding through the sky in the New Braunfels area:
My son and I were driving on I46E toward Seguine, Tx, we noticed an orange ball of light making erractic movements over our subdivision while we waited at the stoplights. We are in a flight path for civilian and military aircraft of all kinds. This orange ball of light was the size of small helicopter. I pulled over in subdivision to watch for about two minutes, then it zipped off toward SE. My son then told me that as he and my foster son, that last night, March 28th, about the same time, 11pm, they both witnessed another large ball of orange light toward the NW.
Have you seen this? Report it. Doesn't sound like a meteor or typical aircraft... and it apparently showed up multiple nights!
A Texan driving home on FM 2722 in New Braunfels spotted a cigar shaped object slowly moving through the sky and eventually disappearing - it had an orange/red glow and was silent. The witness was fortunate enough to get a photo, which they submitted to MUFON, along with a detailed description of the sighting:
As I was driving home to Canyon Lake from a job interview in New Braunfels on FM 2722 on January 3, 2014 around 11:00 a.m., I saw a bullet like shaped object floating in the sky. It was a little less than a mile away from the road to the northwest. I noticed it did not have wings, so I pulled over on the side of the road, turned off my radio and began taking pictures. There was no noise, or delayed noises coming from the object. I knew immediately it was not an airplane or helicopter. This was an object I had never seen before. At first siting the object, it seemed to be floating and moving south and had an orange-red glow on the front half and a grey metallic color on the back part of the object. I was in awe and knew I had to get a picture. After the first picture was taken, I checked to make sure the picture turned out and then went to take a second photo, but the object was gone. I started to drive off and then I saw the object far away within seconds. I took another picture. After checking the picture to make sure it turned out, I looked back at the sky where the object was, and it was gone and I did not see the object in the sky again.
It seems as though an extra big shooting star made its way over Texas on the night of June 13th, but one witness' note that they're "not sure what it was," naturally, has me wondering. Whatever the case, a fireball sighting was reported by two witnesses to AMSMeteors.org. Here's a quote from one of the reports and a map of the sighting:
Amazing fireball. Not sure what it was but it looked beautiful
