An interesting report of UFOs over San Antonio was sent in to MUFON (case 125827), with the witness including detailed testimony and two photos. To me, it's hard to rule out Chinese lanterns or other "non alien" explanations, but hopefully we can learn more about this encounter in time.
Check it out below and let me know what you think about it in the comments, or on Facebook or Twitter!
And, as always, if you've seen a UFO over Texas, report your sighting.
White lights coming towards my vehicle at height of telephone pole
A really intriguing description of an "orb UFO" over Texas was submitted to me by the witness, who would like to be known as "PuppyProtector." Although there were no photos or video taken, I think this report is worth sharing as the witness attempted to interact with the UFO, and seemed to get a response! They also said that their dog howled at the UFO:
At first I thought it was a star. Then it sort of moved away, quickly, to the right…then it closely and quickly circled back with kind of a trail moving behind. I gave it the finger and it seemed to glow brighter; move closer! I then saw red tail lights moving in what looked like 100 yard sprints. From my point of view. Then the first object I spotted lowered, grew brighter and left SO quickly that it literally left a trail behind! I have NEVER offered info like this. I am a reasonable, science first kind of girl. I was out with my puppy, Bella, when she began barking and howling at the sky! I don’t drink or do drugs; so it’s not a problem! I am aware of my past, but we have been doing well since 2011! Anyhow, The whole thing scared me enough to grab my Bella boo and run her in the house!
This report comes out of Waller, Texas, a very small town that has so far, yielded some of the more amazing reports, like a Praying Mantis alien sighting (yes, for real), and a UFO that resembled a tornado, making me wonder if there's more to Waller, Texas than we know:
10/7/22: It's looking like this was a sighting of a helicopter, and not an alien spaceship! Some Twitter users pointed out that in the video, you can hear the sound of propellers, or a... helicopter. When I originally watched the video, it must have been on mute (oops) or I just didn't notice! If you think this theory is wrong, though, let me know.
A video showing a craft of some kind (?) slowly moving over the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio has been uploaded to YouTube. I asked the witness for more information, and they elaborated to say the lights seemed to appear "out of nowhere;" the witness was also puzzled by people in the area who were wearing riot gear, though there's no telling if it was connected to the sighting or not:
"I had the feeling that I should look up to the sky and noticed two shiny objects in the sky" - UFOs in Katy, Texas Also Seen in Houston?
Two shining, bright white lights were seen hovering in the daytime sky, according to a MUFON report (case 125531). The witness was driving on a road in Katy, Texas, when they had a strange urge to look up. That's when they saw the UFOs. They quickly snapped a photo, and then the lights vanished:
Two shiny objects in the sky. Hovering right next to each other.
What's interesting is in nearby Houston on the same day, except earlier in the morning, there was another sighting of strange lights hovering in the sky. Here's that testimony (MUFON case 125539):
While walking my dog abt 6:30 a.m. this morning, I saw an object that looked like it had 4 bright white lights hovering in the sky. It moved quickly to the right and then back to its original position and then it repeated this and moved straight up toward northwest of my home, and continued hovering. I ran inside the house to get my phone to record it. When I returned, the object was still there hovering, but it now had 2 bright white lights. I was able to record about 23 seconds before it moved in a path to the Northwest and then it rapidly disappeared. The object made no sound.
9/19/22 6:31 PM: So as of right now, I think we can put this sighting to bed. I was putting together a YouTube wrap up of everything I had found out, including my follow up with the journalist who wrote the California news story, and my increasingly confusing confusion that some, but maybe not all?, of this event had been hoaxed. I had even contacted the Fox 7 reporters to tell them about my suspicions!
Well, it turns out, all of it was! One of the eyewitnesses to the originally-reported mass sighting in Austin has now come forward and claimed to be an actress, vindicating skeptics like Mick West who immediately suspected the videos to be fake, despite all the eyewitness testimony pouring in.
Check out the confession video and let me know what you think of this in the comments:
9/5/22 2:41 AM Update: This story is still developing. I am learning there was a similar, and similarly suspect sighting, in California a few nights before. It looks like one of the videos from California had been posted on this page --- I've since removed it, so we can focus on the Texas sighting and not contribute to any confusion. I am continuing to look at all angles of this event, from hoax (more and more evidence that this is the case) to mass sighting, and will be posting more soon!
9/3/22 2:41 PM Update: More and more videos are rolling in of the mysterious green lights hovering, and then zooming away, over - what we can now call the Round Rock, Texas/Central Texas area - and the more and more videos I see, the more and more I'm coming back around to the conclusion that these were... drones. But amazingly fast, high-tech ones at that. But who was controlling them? Let me know your theories on this and all the latest breaking UFO news below in the comments, or on Facebook or Twitter.
In the meantime, check out another witness video, shared by Michael Daniels, who was near Spicewood, Texas at the time (less than an hour from Round Rock):
I thought this footage was very impressive, especially considering these are just privately owned drones, and not secret military ones!
This definitely poses a problem for ufology. As drones become more and more advanced, it will be harder and harder to tell the difference between "ours" and "their" tech...
Not to mention, even real videos of UFOs could be easily "covered up" as drones. Even I have a difficult time believing this video to be drones, as they zoom off so incredibly fast. Theories on Twitter initially suggested the lights were just coming from laser pointers.
Let me know what you think of this video, and other stories like it, below in the comments, or on Facebook or Twitter.
Did you also see these drones? Do you have any more to add to the story? Report it!
