"Very intense sound" near Weatherford... "Mind Went White"

• When:  April 4th, 2016 at 8:30 PM
• Where: Parker County (Weatherford area, outside Fort Worth)
• What: Intensely loud sound, can compare to helicopter but without high pitch

Texas UFO Sightings reader Sawce heard an quite an alarming sound while camping with friends, and sent a description of it to the site, along with a recording of the tail-end of it, which you can download below. Apparently it reminded them of a helicopter, but not was far louder and a little different:

Very intense sound to the point to where my mind went white. sounded like a helicopter without the distinct "chop" sound. There was no wind coming off of it, and the sound completely consumed the entire atmosphere. made a Lobing sound. It was so loud that while we were camping, it scared up a bunch of Ferrell hogs into our camp and in the distance dogs began to bark as the sound dissipated. Got a video of the sound as it was dissipating. Never in my life have I experienced anything of this nature. If it is nature...

The witness described the sound as "lobing" --- which is defined as "the radiation pattern of a combination of two or more loudspeaker drivers at a certain frequency" on wikipedia. Here's what lobing sounds like, according to the following YouTube video - for reference:
