12/6/21 Update: The witness has followed up to clarify some things. \ For starters, I misunderstood that the sighting happened in the early morning, but it was actually little before sunset at 5:01 PM. Secondly, the witness shared some additional details about the encounter: "I was sitting on my patio, talking to my daughter on the phone. My first response to my daughter when I saw it was “Wow! The moon is so bright and huge! It must be reflecting from the setting sun.” It took me a little while to realize it couldn’t be the moon. As you can see from the attached picture, it wasn’t dark outside yet. When you zoom in on the pic, it’s quite a strange shape." The witness attached a larger photo of the scene to help us learn more... was this UFO just sunlight reflecting through a cloud, or something much more mysterious? Original story:
A photograph of a shining, yellow, circular object that was seen a few mornings ago has been submitted to me by "RJ": I couldn’t tell if it was a full circle because of clouds. It was very large. If you zoom in on the picture, YouTube can see that it has irregular edges. Initially, I thought it was the moon and it was reflecting the sun as the sun was setting. But I soon realized that the moon is a waning crescent right now. According to the weather app, the moon doesn’t rise until 2:50 AM. I watched it until it faded away behind the clouds (after several minutes). Is it possible that the witness just saw a cloud reflecting sunlight or even moonlight(as they suggest), or is something more mysterious going on here? According to my research, the sun wasn't rising at this time, but the moon was still in the process of setting. That said, the moon only was at 18% brightness, so it's hard to believe it could have caused such a sight? What do you think?

Several green lights hovering high in the sky have been observed in Texas, according to a recent MUFON report (case 99094): Green orbs hovering above western sky over lake right before solar eclipse then disappeared. While these lights look somewhat like reflections or a lens flare, there's no direct evidence of that and the witness claimed to have witnessed this with their naked eye. As well, the meta data for the photo matches up to the date and time the witness reporting seeing these objects, giving more credibility to their account.

A really interesting testimony of an orb hovering over a tree line and then splitting into two and then dancing has been reported to MUFON (case 92384): I saw an orb above tree line. It split in two. It then became one huge orb. The one huge orb then split in two. At this point I got the feeling it knew I saw it. The orbs danced for twenty seconds then disappeared. I have pics & video.
Although photos and videos were taken of the event, they weren't attached to the MUFON report, so we are left wondering. Did you also see these UFOs? Help crack this case and report your sighting!

A very strange, bright white beam of light was seen and filmed in Rockwall, Dallas. The footage was shared on the Facebook page for a local community website called the Rockwallian.
However mysterious this video is, many people speculate that it documents a known and fairly simple weather phenomenon called "Anticrepuscular rays," which are essentially sun rays that form a beautiful "beam of light" optical illusion due to how they appear through certain types of cloud formations.
As always, though, you be the judge! Do you have theories on this spooky beam of light over the Dallas area? Share them in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
