"I should have called in the cops... I was in shock" - Diamond UFO Hovers Over South Texas Road

• Where: Between Freer and San Diego (South Texas)
• What: Hovering, quiet diamond shaped object that also travels

A Texan wrote into the National UFO Reporting Center about a very spooky sighting of a hovering diamond-shaped object, which was making a quiet "shh-ing" sound for about a minute before it floated away, as if it was surveying something:

"Diamond in the sky"
Friday night driving home on Hwy 44 in between Freer and San Diego, Texas, I saw a bright bright light it was just hovering right over the power lines as I drove towards it I saw it so close it was shiny like really clean steel it passed almost right over me I really slowed down and saw it clear I rolled down my window the power source was coming from under it not like a plane or helicopter it made a sound but not really loud just like a shhhhhh I don't know it was too crazy I was in shock it just hovered there I should have pulled over and tried to take a photo but I couldn't believe it was right there it floated away slowly like it was looking at something... I should have called the cops or something i was in shock…
