"It seemed to know when I was conscious of its presence" - Silent, Unlit UFO Spotted Over Hudson Oaks, Texas

• What: Small, black, silent, unlit square-shaped UFO

An odd sighting of a "box-like" UFO that was black, silent, and unlit, through a telescope, has been submitted to MUFON (case 110262). I'm not sure what this witness saw! Do you have any theories? Let me know.

Small, Black, Unlit Craft. Slowly descended to a hover at appx. 200' off groud, 300yd away.

On the night of July 18, 2020, at 21:00 CT, I was setting up my telescope in my southernmost field with hopes of observing the Neowise comet. Due to atmospheric conditions, I was not able to see the comet at or after sunset. I was concentrating on the area directly below the Big Dipper as per NASA website recommendations, when I saw a solid black boxlike object, larger than a man, directly northwest of my position. Its movement caught my attention as it was descending straight down, but it slowed to almost a hover. I stepped back to aim my telescope at it in order to capture a photo, but it vanished before I could sight it in. It made absolutely no sound. Other neighbors in my area fly drones, but this was huge for a drone, made no sound, and was completely unlit. It seemed to "know" when I was conscious of its presence.
