UFO "came out of cloud and left a trail" - See Photos from Downtown Houston

Daytime photos showing a mysterious trail of smoke ascending in the sky, and seemingly changing directions, have been uploaded to MUFON (case 112225). According to the witness testimony, an unidentified flying object came out of a cloud and then left a trail behind:

Saw a ufo flying over Houston, it came out of a cloud and left a trail as it flew north at a high speed

Is it possible this witness is just misidentifying something man-made, like a fast-flying jet with a contrail? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
