A really interesting written description of UFOs over Antarctica has been submitted to MUFON (case 98635). Sightings in Antarctica What makes this case so compelling to me is that it's not the only case to come out of Antarctica from this time frame. Famed UFO researcher Linda Moulton Howe interviewed a naval officer about his sightings of UFOs and a mysterious vast hole in the South Pole when he was stationed between 1983 to 1997: What's also interesting is in 1996 and 1997, the exact time frame of this sighting, scientific experiments at McMurdo Station, the exact location of this sighting, were conducted. The Amanda (Antarctic Muon and Neutrino Detector Array) Project eventually evolved into the IceCube Project, and its purpose is "to observe high-energy neutrinos from astrophysical point sources." Basically, scientists are trying to view the cosmos through the ice! They were in 1996 and they still are today. The program could be compared to CERN, which has also revealed light neutrinos.
Antarctica has been the heart of so many amazing mysteries, from Operation Highjump being linked to the alien presence to online users finding weird things in Antarctica satellite imagery.

NASA has joined the search for alien life via its creation of the Center for Life Detection Science, which Wikipedia describes as an "astrobiology research coordination network managed by NASA for the search for extraterrestrial life."
Essentially, NASA has tasked multiple universities, scientists, and researchers with answering the ultimate question..."are we alone in the Universe?" Two University of Texas faculty members are part of NASA's team.
Many in the UFO community believe that high-level employees of NASA are already aware of the existence of alien life, and have been playing a role in the government and media cover up of it for decades. As a result, many have predicted that NASA will have to announce alien life sooner than later.
I made a video on YouTube recently, which predicted that NASA will announce alien life soon. It is my opinion that while the discovery of alien life will be presented as a new historical moment in human history, it's very possible that the discovery of alien life happened a while ago, but was just classified at the time.
What do you think of this recent news story? Is UFO and alien disclosure nearing, or already here?

In UFOJane's latest YouTube video, the real Project Blue Book (that the History Channel new show is based on) and wonders if it was ever shut down, as the government would have us believe.
January 4th, 2019 Update: TexasUFOs has received incredible, new witness testimony that corroborates this article (scroll down to read the original one). According to a witness who would like to be known as "2005," dozens of bright silver flying saucers were seen flying over Waco, Texas (specifically at the address of 2005 South 7th Street) on May 16th, 1954, just a few months before the event that I featured on this site more than a year ago:
Wow playing in the backyard of my family's home I looked up and observe over 30 flying saucers flying in a V shape formation. This was not the first time that I and other kids in the neighborhood so these UFOs it was very common especially late at night to see them streaking across the night sky. Now that I'm older I think they were observing the goings-on James Connally Air Force Base. I never was afraid because they didn't seem to pose a threat just curious I believe. There was a time in the fifties an early sixties when people set out in their yards escape the Heat and if you look up you can see all kind of strange lights in the sky.
A really phenomenal and detailed account of 30+ flying saucers flying in formation over the James Connally Air Force Base (now, a public use airport) in Waco, Texas in 1954 has just now surfaced on MUFON (case 85062). The witness wanted to take a picture of the event, but as he was training to become a fighter pilot at the time, he was not able to break the line and grab a camera. Although I could not find any photos or videos of this sighting, apparently the Air Force Base was able to confirm that the UFOs were hovering at 100,000 feet and were extremely large, about 100-feet in diameter. Read the testimony: Saw thirty three 100 foot diameter flying saucers in three formations together
I was able to find two articles from the Waco Tribune from the same year (January 1954 issue) that document a local's sighting of a flying saucer in November from the year prior, and curiously enough, a news story about flying saucer-detecting cameras being installed at "60 control towers and 15 air defense sites," which matches up nicely to the witness claims that the base "had to keep detailed record of the saucers:"
What do you think of this incredible testimony? During the 1940s and 50s, there were many documented flying saucer and UFO sightings, from Roswell to the White House UFO incident; perhaps this sighting should have joined that well-known documentation.
Or could this testimony simply be a hoax, or even an overreaction to something a bit more mundane? Though this seems unlikely, as the witness wrote into MUFON anonymously and with absolutely no fanfare... share your ideas on this story in the comments below, and/or join the discussion over on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. If you remember this mass UFO sighting in Waco from the 1950s, or remember hearing about it, please help with this case and report your experience.
A mysterious blue light blanketed Queens, New York yesterday evening, and it sparked fears of an alien invasion, so much so that the local NYPD even tweeted that there was "no evidence of extraterrestrial activity" when explaining that it was actually a power plant explosion that caused the incredible light show.
That said, there were two UFO sightings that occurred in the same location and around the same time frame, according to videos uploaded to YouTube:
Despite the vast blue glow that Queens residents witnessed, and the loud bangs that also were reportedly heard during the event, there was apparently only a small fire caused by the explosion and it was put out before any firetrucks even had a chance to arrive.
Some may find the UFO sightings, and the lack of any firefighters on the scene, a little suspicious. Others may just say it's all one big coincidence. What do you think?
