11/27/2017 Update: The witness has followed up with me since sending in this report. Here's what they had to say (and it seems a few online agree with their sentiment): "I looked up lantern events in that area for that date. I found no related events during that time on the internet. I have no explanation for what we saw. I’ve never seen anything like it before. I was traveling from Houston, TX to Joshua, TX for Thanksgiving celebrations that week."
A quick, but great video showing a large collection of bright, twinkling lights hovering in the nighttime sky over Texas has been submitted to TexasUFOs. But could these lights simply be Chinese lanterns or even stars? As always, you be the judge. Check out the video and testimony sent in by a witness who wishes to remain anonymous:
Seen odd light grouping in the sky. Believe we were passing through Alvarado, TX.
Do you also live in the area? If you saw these mystery lights as well, help crack this case and report your sighting!
Do you have theories on what these UFOs could be? Are they easy enough to explain as Chinese lanterns, or are these surveillance drones or aliens? You can put your theories in the comments below or share them on Facebook , Twitter or Instagram!

A Dallas, Texas resident witnessed two bright ball of light traveling together in the night sky. The witness is used to gazing up at planes, and is confident that these orbs of light were not planes. Check out the video they were able to capture and read the testimony they sent into MUFON (case 88250) below, and judge for yourself:
I was taking out the trash, and looked up two see an orange glowing ball, traveling slowly. I live near an airport, and am used to planes. I recognize the distinct red and green, and strobing white lights of airplanes. This was not a plane, a solid orange glowing ball.
What do you think this local witnessed? Could these UFOs simply have been advanced drones, or is something more mysterious and perhaps even alien going on? Share your theories in the comments below, or on Facebook , Twitter, or Instagram!
If you were the Dallas area during this time period and also saw these UFOs, make sure to report your sighting!
A video showing a reflective object hovering in the daytime sky over Dallas has been uploaded to YouTube. The witness was flying a drone at the time when they noticed the UFO hovering above their drone, and even the moon! Check out the footage and as always, be the judge for yourself:
I was flying my drone at its max height and when I lost sight of it, I saw this thing hovering above it.
WARNING: Foul language
Multiple UFOs were seen and photographed in a daytime sky over Dallas, according to a recent MUFON report (case 87792):
I live on the 18 fl and look over a large unobstructed flight path of Southwest airlines and jets flying into Love Field as the pass near the city.
A similar UFO (or set of UFOs) was seen over Sugar Land, Texas just days prior! Could these sightings be related? Check out the video below to compare:
