UFO Disappears, Reappears, Splits Into Two? See Video Taken in Texas

Where: Laredo
When: October 2022, possibly (confirming day and time)
What: White ball of light disappearing and reappearing and splitting into two

A video showing a bright white object appear to travel through the sky, appear and disappear, and even split into two, has been uploaded to YouTube by the witness. Unfortunately the UFO was seen through a dirty windshield and the video quality isn't excellent, and so it's possible that this light was really just a drone or even a plane but there is an "optical illusion" taking place making it look like a mysterious orb. My wife and I just saw this (or something very similar)! I tried to post to Reddit but didn't format properly:
Traveling Southbound at 6:03pm CST in Southern Fisher County Texas (very rural) I thought it was too early for the first star to appear nearly due west approx 60° above the horizon (out my front passenger window as my wife drove). I thought it was also strangely blurry as I watched it, it seemed to fade into a blur or small single cloud. *NO nearby clouds or stars in sky. As I questioned what I was watching, my wife asked and I told her I don't know. Then it traveled South to nearly due South so we both could watch from the windshield. I pointed it out and told her what it was doing. We both watched the white orb (glowing light) fade in and then out (becoming a cloud). My wife saw 1 iteration and I saw at least 4 or more. Then it seemed to eject 1 burst of something that looked like spray from 2 locations (I can only equate to a dual thrust or ejection of some type). The object at that moment was fading from cloud to star, and in the sky it looked like mist. Then it faded away or disappeared. This is the second such unexplainable thing I've witnessed since tinkering with CE5. I'm certainly biased and excitable about this, but my wife is the opposite. Maybe someone else saw it, too. Who knows?
