Somewhere in Arlington, something very strange happened. A bright, white, stationary orb sat for a while in the sky, seemingly vibrating and then, suddenly!, another identical orb came out of it! Then the two orbs preceded to move about the sky. While this is pretty phenomenal, it actually makes a lot of sense to me. We see orbs interacting with each other and pulsating all the time, and sometimes it's not very clear what their shapes are, as if there's something very dynamic and organic about them.I'm waiting more details. Until then, here are some stills: And the video of course:
- When: May 15th, 2013
- Where: McAllen (South Texas)
- What: Bright orb, changing colors, hovering and moving
An extremely bright object hovered over McAllen and very slyly and slowly moved to another part of the sky. In the following video, uploaded by a South Texan, you'll see (if you look hard enough and maximize your view) a light, usually invisible, but sometimes blinking. It changes colors from white to red to blue and isn't just stationary (that last part is the more confusing part). Here's the video: And the video description: Super bright object seen around 4:30 am heading towards Mexico border. Never seem something so bright! You tell me!
- When: May 13th
- Where: San Antonio
- What: Large glowing object, stationary in the sky like the sun
Someone in San Antonio snapped a photo of a very bright object in the sky and tweeted it. At a first glance, it looks like the sun, however the photog tweeted "it ain't no #sun." So, what is it then? I've asked for more details (like was this object visible to the eye or did it just show up in the photo), but until then, take a look and let me know what you think:
- When: Ongoing
- Where: Central & South Texas (from Round Rock to Cedar Park to McAllen)
- What: Strange and irritating rumbling, humming noise at night, only some Texans can hear it
You may be familiar with the Taos hum or the recent wave of weird rumbling sounds heard across the country, including Texas. Well, most recently, this humming sound - which only a minority of unfortunate Texans are able to hear - popped up in Round Rock, and now people in Cedar Park and McAllen are sharing their tales. Hi I read your article on the "Hum" and just wanted to say that I live in Mcallen, TX and I can hear it here too. I've lived in two separate locations within the last year here in the same town and I have heard it at both. I'm a student so I study late at night usually from midnight to sometimes 5am. I notice the sound also usually around 2-3am...it really hurts my ears and gives me a bad headache. I've woken up my boyfriend to listen for it but he never hears it. I figured maybe I was just able to pick up a different frequency....but it's strange that it only happens within that time frame. I had to start listening to music to drown out the sound because it was really unbearable for me. I'm just glad I'm not the only person out there that hears it. We live in Cedar Park, which is not far from Round Rock, TX. I have been hearing a low rumbling, noise that sounds very much like the noises that are being heard in Round Rock, TX. I have asked my Mother many times, if she hears it, and she sometimes does and sometimes doesn't. It is always late at night between 11:00-2:00 when I hear it. I cannot pinpoint the exact area it is coming from because it seems to emanate from below the ground or in the sky. It is loud, constant and luckily I don't hear it in my bedroom, which is on the North side of the house (I hear the noises only outside on the South side of the house). I sure would like to know what is making these noises, if you find out please let us know.
- When: May 11th, 2013
- Where: Houston
- What: Large, rod-shaped ship
Someone noticed something very strange in the sky on a web cam still from a Houston construction site. I'm trying to get more details, but so far all we have is this puzzling photo: We'd certainly like to see the before-and-after stills. This definitely appears to be a craft, but as with any web cam, there's really no way of telling! It could simply be an illusion. If it was actually a craft, it was big enough to be seen by anyone in the area. Apparently, there were some bright rocket boosters that went over Houston on the same night, perhaps explaining another sighting on the same night. Let me know if you saw it! Here's the full report, submitted to MUFON: Not present as it was taken on a web cam at the University of Houston new football stadium site. On the night in question Houston area had 3 rocket booster go over with the brightness of 1.2 to 2.2. - Fletcher
- When: May 9th, 2013
- Where: Longview (East Texas)
- What: Large, bright, silent craft
A local Texan - "EastTexasUFOs" - has collected quite the following over the past few months, and one of his latest video offerings might be one of his best to date. The dedicated UFO chaser is well-liked for his, well, regular sightings, harrowing, suspenseful commentary, and obligatory music soundtrack. This time around, he spots an extremely large, silent craft with many, multi-colored lights. In the end, he'll share his flight tracker app, which proves that there were no known crafts in the area at the time. Here's a video still: Hang on tight, here's the vid:
And here's the video description:
On a drive back from work, I notice two strange amber colored lights following me as I race home to get my camera. What we see is the tail end of the last one post morph. I was lucky catch this as mild form of proof it actually happened. See video in the response to see one morph. And this Texan UFO hunter has lots of fans. Comments on his videos are all along the lines of this:
I think i had an adrenaline rush just watching-so i totally understand how you must have been feeling.I love your vids, it's nearly like i'm there with you.I really appreciate what you are doing to help bring this topic to more people. Thanks- Geoff -

- When: May 3rd, 2013
- Where: Austin
- What: Turtle-like object circling around in the sky, only visible in the clouds
An Austin area resident was bewildered by a pretty bizarre sight in the sky: a green turtle-like object circling through the sky, which would disappear in the clouds off and on. Could this have simply been a balloon, or perhaps a laser light display, as suggested by a commenter? Here's the full reported, submitted to SightingsReport.com: I was on the balcony at my apartments an I was sitting talking to my brother an I was looking at the sky at the shape of the clouds then a neon turtoise black in the middle object was circling in the clouds an I didn't know what it is when I saw I never seen nothin like this in my life an I look up every type of plane an jets that we have but this was A perfect circle an we went down theran it change position an was hovering over us so we went back in the house to the balcony An it came back to place it was an it stayed there more then a hour circling around the apartments in the clouds but how I lost view of it because the clouds went away so I couldn't see itbecause I only could see it though the clouds an it was invisible in the clear sky so this is crazy so I need answers.
And a comment, with a possible explanation.
This sounds like it could have been a laser display. One of the best mediums to reflect laser images on are clouds. The fact that you could only see it when the clouds were present would suggest a laser interpretation for the sighting.
Would suggest you first search through local media outlets to see if there were any displays advertised for the time in question. Failing that, try contacting the FAA or the ATC centre at the nearest airport. There are established regulations governing the safe use of lasers in outdoor displays to minimize any risk to private or commercial air traffic.
And I just had to share this classic UFO video, prepare to LOL your pants off:
- When: May 6th, 2013
- Where: San Antonio
- What: Two objects, one blinking like a plane, and an orange orb
A San Antonio, Texan watched a strange craft and a bright orange orb seem to interact with each other and mysteriously disappear. The witness is no stranger to UFOs, though - this is the second time they've seen a weird anomaly in the sky and they chalk it up to the many nearby military bases. Here's the full report, submitted to MUFON: i was at the drive thru at a fast food place and i looked out the window at and saw this blinking light.at first i thought it was a plane cause it was just blinking. then it started blinking really fast 3 blinks at a time really bright.and about a min later this small orange ball of light just appeared right behind this blinking light. this blinking light kept going on a straight path but the orange ball was stationary the whole time the object was visible. then the blinking light just blinked out and i couldnt see it anymore but the orange ball was still there for 5 min . right before it disappeared it blinked one time and it was gone! i have no idea what this thing was! this is the second sighting in san antonio tx that iv seen . san antonio tx has the most bases in all of the united states. "Lackland Air Force Base" "U.S. Air Force base" "US Kelly Air Force Base" "Randolph Air Force Base" "Brooks Air Force Base" "kennedy air force base" and others
- When: May 5th, 2013
- Where: Princeton (north of Dallas, east of McKinney)
- What: Green UFOs hover, travel, turn pink, and then shoot up into sky
Couple watched as two green, tear-shaped objects hovered in the night sky and then made a bee line for their home, hovered again, and then started glowing with a pink red color. The wife was afraid and wanted to go inside, but before they headed into the house, the UFOs turned green again and shot back up into space with a flash.Wow, wish we could have seen that! Here's the full report, submitted to MUFON: Factors Unknown Sighting Details May 5th 2013 my wife and I stepped outside for a smoke as we where sitting there smoking and look at the night sky I noticed two objects which at first look I thought where stars but it seemed odd I've never noticed then before and they was really close to each other . As we watched the objects we noticed the began to move in a straigh line one behind the other both putting off a bright green glow as they move to the north from the south as the objects. Where almost directly above us they stopped in midflight and began to omit a pinkish red glow for what seemed to be a matter of one minuet by this time my wife is scared pulling me by the arm to come inside as we both still had are eyes locked on the two tear shaped objects after watching for a little while longer the objects went back to green and shot straight up and where out of side with in a flash
A Dallas area resident spotted a very obvious object in the sky - brighter and bigger than a typical star. It also was a mix of red, yellow, and orange. Could this have been a satellite or perhaps a shooting star that only appeared stationary? No word on whether this object simply hovered or exhibited other behavior. The best line from this report? "I've seen a lot of UFOs in my time, so I just went back in the house." Read the full MUFON report right here: Bigger and brighter than a normal star.
Got out of my car and saw this object in the sky. I live within 1-2 miles of a fema installation. The object was bright red, yellow, orange. Ive seen a lot of UFOs in my time so I just went back in the house.
