Alien Video from Argentina: Hoax or Government Covering Up?

• What: Tall gray/white figure with large dark eyes walking; Identified as a hoax

Teenagers and police officers in Argentina claimed to have witnessed an alien entity sneak around in the woods and then dive into a river. Apparently, the video was originally circulated on the Facebook page of a local radio station:

" On September 13, 2017 in the area known as Parque Miter, an upright humanoid extraterrestrial was spotted and a cell phone picture was taken of it.

"Initially, a local group of teenagers reported seeing a strange looking creature wandering nearby. 

"Later, a group of police officers from Commissariat arrived on the scene. 
"They scoured the area, to find this unusual sight of panicked teens and an alien being.
[Express News]

Since the footage went viral, people online examined the video and concluded it to be edited footage from a Hollywood film, possibly the film "Signs." What is interesting about this conclusion is I don't think it's been fully proven, and the  local news' Facebook post about the sighting now claims it to be a hoax; there is no trail of the original video posting and comments.

What's also interesting is not long after this event, a rancher in Buenos Aires, Argentina claimed that aliens mutilated his cattle.
