The evidence for the existence of Bigfoot is similar to the evidence for the existence of aliens. There is a lot of it and it is quite compelling. However the evidence comes up frustratingly short - the only photos and videos are vague and blurry, and to this day, no one has turned up a body.
But that doesn't mean Bigfoot. Or aliens, for that matter, don't exist.
If one carefully considers the heaping amounts of witness testimony (from modern times and in Native American legend), along with physical evidence like large footprints and audio recordings, it's actually not unreasonable to conclude that some kind of giant, hairy, unknown ape-like creature has been hiding out in the mountains and woods of rural America as well as other parts of the planet for hundreds, if not thousands of years. But why is Bigfoot so good at hiding?
Some of the more logical scientific explanations for Bigfoot include escaped zoo animals or other misidentified animals. It was only last year, after all, that a new species of giant ape (or more specifically, orangutan) was discovered in Indonesia. Who knows what other strange creatures could be out there lurking in the trees?
But a more interesting and not-so-scientific explanation for Bigfoot that some researchers, including Sasquatch expert Nick Redfern (who I interviewed last year), have come to suggest is that the creature could actually be an inter-dimensional entity, similar to a ghost. That would certainly explain why Sasquatch is so good at disappearing and leaving no trace behind. It's also worth noting that sightings of UFOs and Bigfoot occasionally happen at the same time, and this definitely gives the theory that Bigfoot is from out-of-this-world some weight!

Tom Delonge, the popular rock musician who has recently ironed out a career in science fiction writing and UFO research(!), is now hopping on the Bigfoot bandwagon. Of course, anyone who's researched UFOs seriously knows that UFOs and Bigfoot are oddly connected, often appearing at the same time, and having similar "disappearing," perhaps inter-dimensional properties. So, maybe it's not all that surprising that Delonge would post a supposed recent photograph of a Bigfoot in California, which he received from a "friend of a friend:"
And then there's a Bigfoot sighting near #HappyCamp! Taken yesterday by a friend of a friend.
Compare this photo to the following case from back in June, which was submitted to MUFON (case 78785) around the same time Delonge put out the Instagram post. Apparently the two entities below were caught walking on a person's property in Florida. The witness believes these are aliens and that her and her family have experienced abductions. While I'm not so quick to conclude that, I do think it's worth it to share the witness' experiences and photos:
Guys, I have always been a magnet to sightings and the supernatural. This one was filmed and even shows the alien move and cloak at the same time. I ran then. I had more experiences with the kind that have hair like the ones in the same picture. Before I went to this spot to get exercise that my DR ordered due to my disabilities worsening, I felt like something was drawing me to go there. It is hard to explain. I have a lot of film that is really good and shows at least five beings. I have been followed ever since and I don't know what to do. Before I found this place in the woods there was a lot of strange happenings in my house and my family members had encounters themselves. My daughter has told me of the classic abduction scenario. She said a skinny, grey, naked person touched her head with a stick when her mommy was holding her outside. My father and I then had a class A encounter with a being in the house. It was fat and short and had a sort of hooded cape. This guy was definitely malevolent. The ones in this picture are benevolent. If they wanted to hurt me they could have. All I can say is we are not alone and I believe these beings are inter-dimensional. I truly feel like I am in an episode of the X files. I hope someone will help answer my main question... Has anyone seen the hairless being before?
Although these possible Bigfoot or alien sightings occurred on different dates, they were only just recently reported, which is odd considering how uncommon it is to find compelling evidence of the elusive Sasquatch!

New video footage purporting to show Sasquatch walking behind some trees and through some bushes in East Texas was posted today on Sasquatchchronicles.com. The video has apparently been vetted by researcher M.K. Davis; the witness had a suspicion the creature was on their property, and that's why they set up the camera in the first place. The video was originally in VHS form, so we can gather this is an old sighting.
UFOs and Bigfoot are common companions, and TexasUFOs has happened upon many reports as a result.
Does this video show Bigfoot? As always, you be the judge:
Although sightings of Sasquatch tromping around and hiding in the Texas woods are few and far between (Washington, California and Florida are the hairy man's favorite states to lurk around in), they do happen every year. In fact, TexasUFOs recently published a feature on three Bigfoot encounters from just 2016 alone. One thing is for sure - when Bigfoot does visit Texas, he or she visits East Texas. It probably has to do with the piney woods; they are a perfect place for "mythological" creatures to hang out.
Here are the best documented cases of a Bigfoot encounter in the Lone Star State, from the very first of its kind in the 1800s to a sighting as recent as 2008. These Texas Bigfoot sightings are the most famous and credible:
#3: Bigfoot Caught Hiding Behind a Woodpile in 2008
In 2008, Christopher Noel, a professor with a curiosity about Bigfoot heard about an East Texas "habituation site," or Sasquatch hot spot. He decided to visit and set up an infrared camera. Noel didn't think he'd come up with anything until his friend enhanced the footage. In the enhanced footage, Noel and his friend noticed a large creature hiding behind a woodpile and the woodsy shrubbery, his arms stretched out and his eyes glaring. Noel went on to write a book about his encounters.
#2: Man Sees Bigfoot, Photographs Footprint in 2015
A man living in Lufkin (East Texas) caught wind of the neighborhood dogs getting attacked. Separately, he'd also heard "strange noises." So, as a good neighbor would do, he decided to take extra notice of the area and keep an eye out for anything suspicious. That's when he noticed a large, shadowy, hairy creature walking on he edge of his property. The man's dog chased after it before it disappeared.
#1: The Wild Man of the Navidad from 1843
The legend of the Texas Wild Man arose when crops and cattle started to go missing, along with strange footprints. A creature breaking into homes and stealing things, and other strange occurrences were reported over a period of two years. Subtle details like branches breaking and rocks being thrown, which are typical activities of Bigfoot, have led many cryptologists to believe the stories are true. A book was even written about Wild Man of Navidad, which claimed that eventually he was captured and died. Other books have since been written - some researchers believe that the Wild Man was actually a Wild Woman.
