Jan 7th, 2018 Update: New photos of strange lights appearing near the SpaceX rocket have been submitted to MUFON (case 89382)... what could these lights be, UFOs, drones, reflections? If you live in California and witnessed the SpaceX launch on December 22nd, let me know if you saw any UFOs!
December 29th, 2017 Update: A new report and photo of strange green lights showing up alongside the surprising SpaceX rocket launch has been filed with MUFON (case 89155). This time, the witness was in Gardena, California. Compare the latest photo to the others below:
After the launch of a SpaceX rocket on December 22nd, 2017, many reports of a UFO were made as Californians were not expecting such a nighttime spectacle. Not to mention, the event occurred just a week after the New York Times reported on the Pentagon funding a secret, modern-day UFO research program.
However, even those who knew about the SpaceX news story still question it. Could a UFO really have been spotted over California, and did Elon Musk just help with a cover story? Or was the SpaceX rocket launch timed on purpose to occur after the New York Times article, in order to see how people would react?
Now, things get even weirder. Two separate witnesses (see MUFON cases 89100 and 89034) in West Hills and Westminster, California snapped of photos of strange green, unidentified lights alongside the headline-making SpaceX rocket:
It's very possible that these lights are simply lens artifacts or camera reflections, however considering that Elon Musk himself recently suggested a UFO (or mystery drone) was the cause of one of his past SpaceX rocket explosions, these photos are worth some investigation.

Did you watch the SpaceX rocket launch? Did you also see these strange lights? Report your sighting!
An extremely large cone-shaped, explosive object was seen ascending over Los Angeles, according to multiple eyewitness reports, photos and videos.
Fortunately it was not aliens invading, and unfortunately it was not Santa making an early visit, but just the SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket, carrying a load of communications satellites.
Luckily fellow UFO researcher Ryan Sprague was one of the many witnesses to capture some footage;
Not all of SpaceX's rocket launches have gone well. TexasUFOs once covered the explosion of a SpaceX rocket that may have been caused by an attacking UFO or drone, a story now all the more interesting considering the New York Times recent coverage of the Pentagon's secret UFO program!
Photos and testimony of UFOs over San Diego have been submitted to MUFON (case 87621). Glowing orange lights hovered and made a triangle-like formation before separating. According to the witness, additional footage of the UFOs was posted on YouTube out of San Diego and as far as away as Tijuana, Mexico, suggesting that these objects could have been extremely large:
On Sept 28, 2017, starting around 8:20pm I saw a large bright orange stationary light from the window near my desk/computer in my home. The lights were so bright and stationary (and therefore very different from what I usually see from this window, i.e. normal airplane traffic and occasional helicopters) that I got in my car and drove to the top of a hill near my house. The lights then separated into several pulsating orange/red lights. The lights stayed in fixed position (i.e. did not move/float/dissipate for several minutes). I took few photos with my phone and then took a video. At first I thought they could be Chinese lanterns, or some science experiment from some university students (I live very near San Diego State University), but due to the fact that the same lights were seen in Tijuana, Mexico on the same night, it sort of rules out that logical explanation. I found two videos of these lights on YouTube for the same night (September 28, 2017), both looking up from the ground. One video is from San Diego, and one is from a beach in Tijuana, Mexico. My video timed itself as 8:31pm Pacific Time. I am unable to attach the video because it is too large, but I will attach 2 photos. I will hopefully attend next local MUFON meeting in San Diego to show my video.
Dark black triangle crafts, as well as orbs forming triangles, have been widely reported over the past few years. What do you think is going on in our skies? Have you seen a triangle craft?

Astonishing footage showing a bright orange orb of light dropping another similar, but slightly smaller light has been uploaded to YouTube:
Believe it or not, there are many documented cases of "orbs dropping orbs," if you will. What could be happening here? Any theories? Share them in the comments below, or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
If you also saw this UFO, report your sighting.
Several days after the August 21st, 2017 solar eclipse over the US, a gigantic meteor was seen over the northeastern US, garnering nearly 1,000 reports on AMSMeteors.org, the highest count of 2017. Since then, a healthy stream of fireballs have been passing through Earth's atmosphere. Most notably, perhaps, a fireball event in Europe on September 21st was reported by over 400 people.
The day after that, in the Los Angeles area, a meteor was also reported by many, and video, photos and a drawing was also posted of a similar, but possibly unidentified object:
I was walking my dog at 10:50pm, I like to start gaze, when I noticed a plane flying towards me from the SE sky. I stopped and watched the plane for 1-2 minutes. I started to think about what if one day I see a UFO.
During the same time frame, in Milan, Italy, a very curious photograph was taken of a large ball of light and although the description was short, the event apparently happened the day after the well-documented major meteor event in Europe, so could be related:
What do you think of these UFO... ahem, meteor?.... sightings? Are we just getting a wave of space rocks, or could these objects be crashing satellites or even weapons of war? Are these UFO sightings related to the meteor events happening around the globe right now?
