If you're reading this before Christmas 2018, then there's a good chance you're engaged in some last-minute holiday shopping. And that you or someone you know believes in UFOs and aliens. Check off your list with these five cheap holiday gift ideas for the believer in your life (or just treat yourself, I won't tell anyone). All of these gifts, as of today, cost ~$20 or under (even with shipping) and can be delivered before Christmas. Maybe your spouse knows everything about Roswell, you've got a kiddo who's really into space and science fiction, or you're just looking for a creative "White Elephant" gift for your office Christmas party. Whatever the case, check out these fun, affordable, last-minute ideas for UFO and alien believers:
1. UFO/Alien Coffee Mug
It requires a lot of energy to stay up all night reading about UFOs and aliens. So chances are, the believer in your life drinks coffee (or tea, at least). Luckily, for the tinfoil hat-wearing caffeine addict, there are lot of really charming alien-themed coffee mugs out there to purchase! I have a growing collection, myself, and in fact, this green alien coffee mug with a firm handle grip is one of my favorites. That particular mug goes for $16 and up, though, and I couldn't find any fast or free shipping options. That said, there is this super cute/stylish $9.99 mug (pictured above) from Spencer's that costs an additional $10 for guaranteed shipping before Christmas. Spencer's has a lot of other cool UFO/alien items that last-minute shoppers can also pick up in store!
2. UFO/Alien Podcast Subscription
There may have been a time when it was hard to research UFOs and aliens. However, these days, everybody and their dog has a podcast discussing the topic. Okay, that's not exactly true, but the point is there is wealth of paranormal entertainment and education out there! Coast to Coast AM, for example, offers up the "Coast Insider" monthly subscription, which gives members access to current shows on-demand, as well as the last five years of shows, a direct e-mail address to host George Noory, and other perks. The best part is it only costs $6.95 a month and there is no hassle or shipping! A full year costs $54.95, however, and the subscription will auto renew, so be careful with your wallet on that one. Other online paranormal subscriptions that the believer in your life may appreciate include GAIA, which has plans starting from $20 for 3 months, as well as number of smaller, but high-quality podcasts/shows offering member benefits (like fellow UFO researcher Ryan Sprague or YouTube channels like UFOSeekers).
3. UFO/Alien Book
The believer in your life is probably also a reader. While they may have already consumed classic UFO and alien books like Erich von Daniken's "Chariots of the Gods" or Whitley Strieber's "Communion," they may not have caught up on more recently published books, like "Ancient Aliens®: The Official Companion Book" (I have this one and it's fun to flip through), which costs just $17.00 on Amazon right now and has free one-day shipping for Prime members. "Ancient Aliens" fans may also enjoy creative gifts like this $3.30 "Ancient Aliens" coloring book on Barnes & Noble or this "Ancient Aliens" $11.60 mouse pad on Zazzle.com, all so far available for delivery before Christmas! I, personally, would be really into getting a book like "UFO Drawings from the National Archives by David Clarke," which is currently available for $18.63 on ebay.com, with free shipping. You can order an audio book as an even cheaper gift option if you're really on a budget. Finally, don't forget to look for those UFO and alien books at your local used book store. Some really great titles can be purchased for very cheap if you keep an eye out!
4. UFO/Alien Wear
From hats to hoodies to earrings to fuzzy slippers, there are so many stylish ways to show that you are a believer. However, it can be hard to shop for clothing as a gift as there's always the risk of getting the size wrong. The fuzzy alien slippers pictured above, however, will comfortably fit onto most feet. (I have a pair and they are on the smaller size, but even my husband who wears normal men's shoe size can fit into them.) The price for these slippers is $24.95, however if you're an Amazon prime member, shipping is fast and free and so that makes a big difference. Another alien/UFO-themed clothing line I really love is Saucer Los Angeles, which has everything from hoodies to hats to $19 beanies, and there's a chance you can get your order before the holidays. Hot Topic also has a lot of awesome "spacey" styles and accessories, like these $7.90 alien hair clips, $8.95 alien earbuds, or these $18.99 pair of alien swim trunks! You can shop in store (though be sure to call ahead to see if what you're looking for is available), and also, Hot Topic is offering some items for delivery before Christmas - if you act now!
5. UFO/Alien Notebook or Calendar
The believer in your life may be counting down until Disclosure, the day that the truth about UFOs and aliens will finally be revealed to us all. Help them count down with a beautiful alien-themed calendar for 2019. There are a few options out there, but this $19.99 one on Etsy is one the cooler-looking ones I found, and right now, 2 to 3-day shipping is still available. An alien/UFO-themed notebook or journal is also a great gift idea. Many journals I found were somewhat feminine looking, but there are some great-looking, chicer, more neutral, $12.50 designs on Redbubble.com - like this "UFO in dark night" spiral notebook and this "Ancient Aliens Theorist" spiral!

Former US President George H. W. Bush passed on November 30th, 2018, and he will be laid to rest this Thursday.
Will he be buried with secrets about UFOs and aliens? It's possible. Before George Bush's presidential term of 1989 to 1993, he fought in World War II and was director of the CIA. It was his role in the CIA that had one UFO researcher, Charles Huffer, suspecting that Bush should know something about UFOs. So much so, that Huffer questioned Bush about it at the time of his presidency. Bush was reported to say "I know some ... I know a fair amount."
Bush was also supported space exploration, and was once quoted in a speech as saying "We will travel to neighboring stars, to new worlds, to discover the unknown."
Do you think the former and late US president George Bush was also a believer? Share your ideas on this and more in the comments below, or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!

Is the White House haunted? According to a former resident, Jenna Bush Hager, it is.
When Jenna and her twin Barbara lived at the presidential estate, they were awoken in the middle of the night by a mysterious phone ring. At that point, they heard 1920s piano music playing... from the fireplace. Another time, they heard opera music. When Jenna discussed the event with a friend and fellow resident, Buddy, who still works at the White House, Buddy wasn't surprised and confirmed that the house was haunted. On the "Today" show, Jenna told her co-host Hoda Kotb: "We talked ourselves out of it... But they came with all good intentions. They were friendly ghosts.”
This is not the first case of a White House haunting. The spirits of Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Jackson, and Abigail Adams are all reported to roam the grounds. In fact, a photo showing Abraham Lincoln posing with his wife Mary Todd Lincoln... after his death... is still famous, though many believe it just a double exposure. Spirit photographer William H. Mumler was put on trial for hoaxing it, however he ended up being acquitted.
If there's any house worth haunting, the White House would be a great candidate, considering its epic and varied history. What do you think of Jenna Bush Hager's haunted tale? Have you ever been a house or a building you thought was haunted?
