An dark, rectangular craft was photographed in the daytime sky over Illinois. According to the witness, who sent in a MUFON report (case 95126), a "static noise" could be heard during the sighting:

driving down 157 thu casyville il after 4pm saturday 22nd

ufo came down from a higher altitude into casyville il and hovered to the west close to tree top level I was driving down 157 heading to Collinsville used phone to take pictures when I first seen it and it came down I heard a static type of noise that's what made me try to get the pictures before it was gone
