1/17/18 Update: Photos and videos are circulating online of the meteor reported to have directly hit Michigan on January 16th. Also, news reports are continuing to surface about the meteor impact, which caused houses to shake (earthquakes), loud booms to be heard in the air, and more.
Original story
Right after reporting about a mysterious fireball and power outage in parts of the US, reports of a large fireball seen over Michigan, which was so large as to cause houses to shake, was reported. What is especially eerie about all of this unusually dramatic sky activity, is it is all occurring about a month before the anniversary of the 2013 meteor impact in the Chelyabinsk region of Russia that injured thousands, and just days after another similar meteor explosion in Russia.
Just as in Russia this year and in 2013, this meteor lit up the entire night sky!
Do you think this fireball is a sign of rockier times to come? Will we see another scary fireball show on Valentines Day this year? Are these large meteors a sign of weather change, or even space war?
