March has really gotten off to quite a start... here's some great footage of some truly great balls of fire streaking across the worldwide sky on the nights of March 5th and 6th, 2014.

This major meteor event seemed to come out of nowhere, but we may owe it to the IMO Shower #37, which peaked on these days.

February 28th Meteor Event

That last video there is a little confusing but worth sharing, considering the timing. Your theories as to what's going on there are welcome - could this be some sort of shadow affecting the viewer, and not the moon?

Not long ago, on the 28th, the Gamma Norids made quite the fantastic experience. Whle we don't have a ton of video on hand, we do have a ton of testimonies on hand, thanks to AMSMeteors.org. Testimonies like "largest meteor I have ever seen." Reports like these have been eerily and increasingly common on the site.
