Mystery Light Hovered and Then "Shot Up in the Night Sky" - New York UFO Sighting

• What: Bright orange stationary light that suddenly shot up into sky and disappeared

According to a recent UFO report, a bright orange light hovered before shooting straight up into the sky at great speed. The witness shared photo and testimony with MUFON (case 99467)

it was a bright light and followed a direction along the tree tops then it shot up in the night sky and disappeared

i first observed the object above the tree line in the northern sky it glowed orange yellow it was bright and moved slow at first almost hovering then like a streak it shot upwards into the night sky i ran out on the back steps at that time and it was gone i have a fuzzy phone pic through my blinds
