Mystery Orb Observed Outside Plane Window

What: UFO orb hovering and descending outside plane window, possibly had vapor trail

An airplane passenger witnessed a strange glowing orb hovering and then descending. They luckily snapped a photo of the UFO and submitted testimony about it to MUFON (case 87205):

I was on a plane flying over Europe, watching a film. Glanced out of the window and thought I saw an item moving in a different direction to the background. Thought it must have been something on the window, but then moved my head and the object remained constant with the background.

Upon closer inspection, I could see a small vapor-like trail coming from below it as the item ascended. It hovered for a couple of seconds and then descended a bit before heading backwards (from the perspective of the plane's direction of travel) and then disappeared below the wing of the aircraft.

Checked on flight radar and the plan was around 39k feet traveling at 400 knots at the time.

I've taken over 200 flights and have never seen anything like it. I was so sure that it was nothing of any consequence that it took me a few seconds to fire up the camera on my Galaxy S7 (even thought it was in my hand, as I was watching a film on it).

Saw something like this in 2013....it looked like a perfectly clear bubble...but the outer edge had a shine like a gleaming glass ball or something...it didn't do anything but just moved with the plane...I later ignored it as maybe vapor caught between the window pane because I couldn't understand what I was seeing

I saw the same thing today except the ball looked yellow and it was beaming down mist. I told my fiancee to look and she saw the ball moving away from the airplane with a trail behind it. I tried to get my camera out but by the time I opened it to take video the object was gone. Idk what it could be.

While flying to Chicago and as the airplane was descended and amongst the cloud layer, I looked out my window to see what I can describe as a glass-like ball of light. It hovered directly in front of my line of sight. I looked around to determine if it was a reflection of light from the plane or something technical relating to the plane. I can confirm from what I observed that it was not either. It continued to hover as the plane moved forward in its path. I took out my Galaxy phone and took two pictures. The quality is not great but you can clearly see what appears to be an orb. While disembarking, I inquired with the pilot and stewardess and even showed them the photos. They had no explanation. I'm sure they thought I was a little kooky. But I know what I saw.

I believe this phenomenon to be deceptive in some shape or form.. I was on a flight from charlotte to DC and I happened to look to my left out of the window during takeoff.. and saw three basketball shaped orbs that were translucent.. like bubbles from a child’s bubble wand.. but firm and they were encircling each other and were maybe 15 to 20ft from the plane.. I stated these things down for maybe 5 mins.. they slowly began to lag behind the plane.. the rest of the flight I was just confused
