NASA Says Spooky Light Was Meteor, But Not Everyone Agrees....

• What: Strange trail of light hovering in night sky; Identified as a meteor

If you live in California, Oregon,  or Nevada, there's a good chance that you enjoyed a surprising and mysterious light show this past Wednesday evening, one that NASA believes was the result of a meteor. However, according to tweets directed at NASA, and a MUFON report that may show a UFO alongside the light, some people aren't buying the official NASA story. Besides aliens, a missile or rocket launch has also been offered up as an explanation. Some have even linked the event to the equally mysterious news story about drones shutting down a London airport.

I was standing outside on the sidewalk photographing what I thought was a rocket contrail (NROL-71 Delta 4 Heavy was supposed to launch this day but did not actually launch).

As I was holding my phone up snapping pictures, a green light flashed in my peripheral vision, and appeared to be moving in a straight line from SW to NE in direction. I thought it was the light of a plane or helicopter as I snapped another pic.

Approximately 1 second later after my photo, I looked back in the area of the sky where the green light was and there was nothing in the sky. No planes, helicopters, etc.

Knowing I had seen something, I went back thorough my pictures and had caught the object in question. It appears to be a whitish, cylindrical object, with the front end glowing a bright green as if creating a plasma or ionization.

I've seen plenty of meteor showers and shooting stars, and this was certainly not that. It moved almost instantly in a straight line across my field of vision.

Using photo 007 you can see a car making a right turn and the object is not in the sky. About 3 second later, using photo 011, you can see that same car had just completed the right turn and the object is there.I was standing outside on the sidewalk photographing what I thought was a rocket contrail (NROL-71 Delta 4 Heavy was supposed to launch this day but did not actually launch).
