Prince Philip Once Tried to Meet with an Alien Contactee

Many prominent people, from US presidents to CIA directors to astronauts, have spoken out publicly about their believe in UFOs. But did you know several members of British royalty are also included in this group? For example, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and husband to Queen Elizabeth II (they married in 1947), has a long track record as a UFO hobbyist.

At one point, Prince Philip tried to have a meeting with a famous alien contactee George Adamski, but that meeting was cancelled at the last minute.

Prince Philip's uncle, British naval officer Lord Mountbatton, was also interested in UFOs, and even personally investigated an encounter with a telepathic extraterrestrial entity called "Mr. Janus."

UFO researcher Nick Pope used to investigate UFOs secretly and unofficially for the British Ministry of Defense and he had the following to say about accusations that the British Royal Family are interested in UFOs:

"Um… yeah this is a kind of difficult area for me to enter. Of course, even though I have left the Ministry of Defence, I am still bound by the official secrets act, and it binds me for life. Yes, I know that some members of the royal family have an interest in UFOs, Crop Circles, and the unexplained generally, because of my security oath this isn’t an area that I can really discuss in any great detail I am afraid."
