Luis Elizondo, the government insider who helped Tom Delonge and To the Stars Academy leak UFO footage to the New York Times, gave a really compelling interview for the 2018 UFO Congress. In the interview, which you can watch below, Elizondo goes into great length about the UFO phenomenon and what his role is in disclosing the truth about it.
Here are some of the key facts Elizondo stated in the interview:
Elizondo is obviously a credible source, and he seems sincere. However, it is important for the American people not just to ask questions about UFOs, but to ask questions about the government insiders who are suddenly leaking information out about them.
Elizondo's own words make it clear that UFO and other classified footage is routinely covered up and classified by the Department of Defense, edited or "downgraded," and then selectively released for public distribution. In general, Elizondo, like Tom Delonge in interviews before him, paints a noble picture of the US government, doing its very best to investigate a scary and confusing phenomenon in the shadows. But is this picture an accurate one?
Unlike the government, the American people, and many career UFO researchers in fact, have been investigating and talking about UFOs in the open this entire time, so who is really to be trusted about all of this? The American people or the Department of Defense? If the people are to be trusted, then so are reports of alien abductions, and alien interactions with government personnel. That would mean there is much more to the story than Elizondo is letting on.
