A mysterious blue light blanketed Queens, New York yesterday evening, and it sparked fears of an alien invasion, so much so that the local NYPD even tweeted that there was "no evidence of extraterrestrial activity" when explaining that it was actually a power plant explosion that caused the incredible light show.

That said, there were two UFO sightings that occurred in the same location and around the same time frame, according to videos uploaded to YouTube:

Despite the vast blue glow that Queens residents witnessed, and the loud bangs that also were reportedly heard during the event, there was apparently only a small fire caused by the explosion and it was put out before any firetrucks even had a chance to arrive.
Some may find the UFO sightings, and the lack of any firefighters on the scene, a little suspicious. Others may just say it's all one big coincidence. What do you think? Those orange UFO have been sighted in NYC for years. When I lived in Ft. Green section of Brooklyn in 2010, we would spend a great deal of time on the roof in the summer. Husband and I saw 5 on separate occasions. I was downstairs one night around 2am making sandwiches to take back up, when I hear frantic stomping, look out the door to see husband running back in white as a ghost. Turns out he saw the UFO again, was watching it, til it stopped and hovered over him, and shot out a beam at him. He never went on the roof alone after that. We actually moved to Dallas, and keep seeing a lot of UFOs. I have been seeing them all my life. He had never had an experience til he met me. When we first met, I had asked him if he had seen a UFO before. He said no, and that I was crazy. I said...if you're with me long enough you will...

Wow Im totally amazed by your story Its my dream to see an unmistakeable UFO and if I was told by someone "you will probably see a ufo while your with me" well I would never leave you lol. Im fascinated that you have always seen them, I think Im connected in some way especially as a child I used to find myself awake in the middle of the night looking out my window straight up at the bright night sky which I thought was strange and then I would find myself wondering what the hell I was doing at my window and walk back to my bed and go to sleep.
