Sara B of Universal City, TX, and her grandmother, spotted a big star in the sky, except it wasn't a star at all - it suddenly turned into a "black triangle" and sped off. While the witness wasn't quite quick enough to get a photo, they were kind enough to submit testimony to Texas UFO Sightings: I saw a huge yellow star, thought maybe it was Venus. I tried taking a photo with my phone, but then it turned into a huge black triangle and took off. I then tried again to get a picture but I couldn't see it in my camera. It was strange, but exciting. My grandma saw it too, she asked 'What the hell was that?' my response 'I think it was a UFO'. I hope to see it again soon, then maybe I can send a picture to this website. Have you seen any funky looking stars or triangle crafts in Texas recently? (The latter has had quite the showing of late.) Report your sighting!

A couple enjoying a scenic Sunday drive stopped many times to take pictures of the Texas countryside. When viewing their photos later, they noticed that one of them had a UFO in it. And to make things stranger, they took multiple photos of the area in a short period of time, but the UFO only showed up in one of the photos. So, it might have been super fast... Here's the full photo and description, kindly submitted to TUS by reader Chris H: My fiancé and I took a Sunday drive after a birthday lunch in the woodlands back to our home in Katy. We stopped many times to take pictures of the spring flowers and beautiful scenery. When we got back to the house to look over the pictures we saw a very strange object in one of the pictures. I have never seen anything like it. We took multiple pictures at this exact same angle over about 2-3 minutes and only one picture had this object in it. At the time the picture was taken we were focused on the cows and house in the picture and didn't see or hear anything. What are we looking at? A balloon? Camera distortion? Share your theories in the comments or on the Texas UFO sightings Facebook page or Twitter.
And as always - if you've seen a UFO like this in Texas recently, report it.
Self-proclaimed "astronomy geek" Jack A saw something quite unusual - three bright lights orbiting each other while traveling. When they passed over his head, his phone and iPod shut off. Although we have no photo or video for this event, the witness kindly submitted details of the sighting to TUS: This happened around 1:00 AM. Could this have been a satellite or a far off solar system that only seemed to move (trick of the eye)? Or could this be some unconventional craft or drone?
Texans have been seeing orange lights on the move - that are clearly not Chinese lanterns or meteors - a lot lately. Have you seen anything like this recently? Report your sighting! |
