Object Descends Down North of Houston - See Video

• When: On or about August 24th, 2014
• Where: Atascotia (north of Houston)
• What: Light changing colors, hovering, and descending

Footage of a bright light, appearing to change colors, hovering in the night sky and then slowly dropping below a treeline has hit YouTube. In the video, you can hear what sounds like a couple discussing the odd object.

This was not a plane-there was no sound. A plane did pass shortly afterwards and was clear, had more lights, and had sound. I have no idea what this was, and I have never seen anything like it.

The video itself isn't super revealing - we could be looking at a star or a plane or a flare. However, the comments from the eyewitnesses definitely make it interesting.
