According to multiple mainstream news outlets, a large US Air Force drone (the size of a commercial plane!) crashed over Mount Whitney, California, causing a wildfire.
What could be going on with the US military right now? Strangely enough, the very same day, a US Navy ballistic missile intercept test failed.
Also, other strange fireball reports came out around the same time. I received a secondhand report and photo of a large object seemingly crashing (but eventually "leveling out") over Bainbridge Island, Washington (which so far I am not at liberty to share). But there was a public meteor report logged of a similarly-behaving fireball over Seattle from the same night.
Could these military activities and other reports of fireballs be reported?
What is even wilder is today there is an online rumor that a UFO hit a building in Lima, Peru today, causing a fire. While the fire is confirmed, the rumors about its cause are not.

A couple camping on Palomar Mountain in California snapped a photo of the onsite observatory and were surprised to discover later that they also snapped a photo of a UFO (MUFON case 84406):
Camping at Palomar Observatory campground saw object in a photo taken by me visiting the observatory.
Although the witnesses did not see the silver disc pictured here with their naked eye, the object doesn't appear to be a typical lens glare or reflection or even speck of dust. Only way to really find out is to investigate other reports. Do you live in the area? Did you also see this? Or have you ever seen a UFO like this? Report your sighting!

Bright blue lights were photographed over LA, with the witness claiming that they simply appeared and then disappeared with no clear explanation (MUFON case 83778):
I was walking out to my garage and noticed these strange lights in the sky. I ran inside to grab my phone and they had not moved when I returned. I captured a photo, and after sending it to a friend, I looked back up and they were gone. They did not fade gradually or drift off, they were simply there one moment and gone the next. I struggled to find an explanation for what it was, and still do. I'm also of a scientific mind and believe there is probably a logical explanation that does not involve aliens. I lost sight by simply looking away for a moment.
This sighting is somewhat familiar to one from Peru from several nights prior:

Two crafts with a ring of bright lights underneath appear to ascend in a video recently reported by a MUFON investigator (case 83092) and uploaded to YouTube by a UFO channel (though the video footage found here is better quality):
Submitted by former MUFON Staff Photoanalyst, Jeffrey Sainio, on behalf of the videographer, whose name/number is known to me. Video was submitted through KUFOS member Jong han Seo to me.
What do you think of this incredible footage? What crafts look like this, and disappear like this? Drones certainly don't disappear! Share your opinions on this sighting in the comments or on Facebook or Twitter.

Wow, another gray alien encounter has been reported... this time in California and on Christmas, of all days. Maybe Santa's helpers are small, gray humanoid extraterrestrials? The overall experience appears to be a positive one. Read the MUFON report (case 81205). The witness includes familira details like feeling "static electricity" and being in a dreamlike state:
There have been an alarming number of gray alien sightings (or "dreams" or "hallucinations," whatever you want to call them) reported in recent months. What do you think of this encounter, and others like it? Why are we seeing an increase in these kinds of experiences?
